Just entering Nsg Informatics
I agree with you to a certain extent. But I think you still need an advanced degree down the road to climb up the ladder faster. Else, you are just going to be a builder. I myself am trying to get in and do some clinical builder stuff but I am in school also. Good luck guys

approved I140...whats next
Hi Zuriel, I think what your lawyer said is the right thing. All you can do is wait. It depends on a lot of factors - Service center, immigration officer who is handling your file, documents received. So since you already have your I140 approved, all you can do is to be patient and wait. Mine was extremely fast but that is not the norm. TSC usually take btw 4-6 months. I hope this helps. We are praying for you. Maro

I485 approved. Green card in the mail
Thanks Suzanne. Your advise helped a lot. Remember you advised me to apply for VSC immediately after finish nursing school. That really helped. You are a blessing to us all and we pray God replenish you in wonderful ways. Pink..... I sent the photocopy ( or I should say my lawyer did), and they acknowledged it on their uscis website. You are going to get yours in like 2 weeks or less from now after they receive the documents asked for. Good luck to you and let me know if I can answer any question,

My lawyer in Tennessee gave me a fee of $3900 for me and my wife. Also, the others i met said $5000. Youc an use your OPT to work anywhere. You do not need to get any special work permit. Maybe your recruiter is confusing OPT for CPT. PM me if you need any more info... My sister is an RN in Long Island....

Zinna, I did not mention about the sponsorship when I was looking for a job but I made sure i got a job with a good and big institution. When I got the job, I then mentioned it and they knew they had to do it at that point. Let me know if you need information on some institutions that do it and where you live.
