How did you celebrate???
I just found out this afternoon and decided I wanted to go out with my hubby and three boys to a nice steak dinner. Funny thing was, I wasn't expecting my license to be there. I was just convinced that I had failed because I didn't feel like I knew any of the questions. I ended up giving myself a headache from crying when I found out that I passed. I wish they wouldn't put us all through that and just let the computer tell us whether or not we passed when it shuts off. How many others think that idea would be much more beneficial to all those poor souls who get ulcers waiting for results? Anyway, we went out for a lovely steak dinner and I even got treated to a piece of cheescake for dessert! I'm thinking of you all and wish you all the best of luck and hope your results are quick in getting to you!!

Just got results...
It's a GREAT feeling! Thank you so much for the kudos! I know how those others are feeling having to wait, I've been sick at my stomach all day! I know everyone did fine! I passed the test with 100 questions and didn't feel like I knew any of them! I'm going out to celebrate!! :)

I can finally officially sign RN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats! I'm hoping it will be me in a few days saying that I passed! I took the test today (Thurs) at 9:30am. Alaska does not have the quick results option, so I have to wait. The Alaska BON told me to go on their website in a few days and check to see if a license has been issued in my name. That way I might not have to wait as long. I am so nervous about whether I passed or not. I felt like I didn't know any of the questoins. It really sucked! People are right when they say there is no REAL way to prepare for the NCLEX. My test shut off after 100 questions but I am still on the fence about it. I don't have a horrible feeling, but I don't exactly have a good feeling either. I just don't know. I'll keep you posted!

How hard does one need to study meds?
I just took the test today after studying for about 6 weeks. I practiced and practiced as many dosage calultions as I could find and guess what? I didn't get ONE SINGLE dosage calculation. And I only got about 10 med questions. Most of my questions were priority of patient assessments. I had a few OB and a few PEDS, but mostly med surg.
