Hello! PNP looking to enroll in a FNP Post Master's Certificate. UMass Boston has a 12 credit program that I would like to enroll in, but they do not accept Louisiana students. Does anyone know any programs similar to this setup that take Louisiana students?

Looks like interviews will be held via zoom this cycle. Anyone hear anything?

The deadline is July 1st. I don’t believe they start notifying till after that.

I am waiting to speak with 2 more references, before I send anything to their emails. Can you tell me what the personal statement writing requirements are? I don't believe I can access that page until I submit references.

I was going to wait another year, but with them waiving the GRE for this cycle, I am considering applying now.

I can not find a direct answer to this question. On a postpartum unit, is a nurse allowed to delegate to the UAP to get mom out of bed for the first time?? Also, if a patient has been having abnormal vital signs, is the CNA allowed to keep take them, or does the nurse have to?

Don't give up, just like you has to learn how to take care of adults on your Medical unit. You have to learn to take care of kids in the PICU. Nurses have done it before you, so it can be done. I would talk with the nurse manager about possibly paring you with another preceptor. Your preceptor attitude can make a world of difference in your experience. Good luck, keep the faith, you will be a fantastic PICU nurse!

The CRNA schools I'm applying to do not require Organic Chemistry for admission to the program, however I am wondering should I still take it?? I don't want to risk getting a bad grade, and bringing my GPA down, when I didn't have to take it in the 1st place. -Will taking organic chemistry give me more "brownie points" when applying? -Those who are currently in CRNA school, would you recommend it?' Thanks!!
