Partner locks up W2s prevents LPN from renewing license.
Thank you so much-I wasn’t aware of that, so it’s very helpful! Will do

Partner locks up W2s prevents LPN from renewing license.
Thanks for ideas; unfortunately he still refuses to disclose any details about whatever plans he had for them. Suffice it to say, they weren’t even filed for a refund. Too bad. The $ would have helped put tiny dent in my consent agreement fines… Lesson learned! ?

Thank u so much, Nurse Beth-I’m going to try the # and also I feel a bit more emboldened to talk to the BON. The $9k is my punishment for not proving I worked 400hrs during the 2 years of the audit. It was several years ago, but I am going to try to talk to the POE’s again-one was so helpful she called the BON to let them know that they don’t keep the records longer than a year. In response I received an email encouraging me to find my paystubs or pay the $9000 fine that represents the hours I have to prove I was paid, I suppose-it says it’s a contact agreement. Thank you for the helpful info-I am just petrified to speak to the BON because I’m afraid they might keep my license because I let my situation get this bad. I can understand if they presumed that since I haven’t helped myself so far, they might not trust I would help a patient in the same situation… I know I would do fine, but the BON here seems intimidating-I have to take the chance, though. I was working with a case manager at the WV DRS due to my disability getting in the way and she had been calling the BON & they worked with her helping me get something to show work hours. She retired 3yrs ago & I have had 4 newbies quit right away, so I think I need to ask for help elsewhere now. I think the SSI form you speak of is what I want to ask if I can use to show hours-It is 2yrs salary over $9k, so that may work…?? Thanks again-you have been so helpful! nurse8019 aka ’scared’

What age is "too old" to switch from RN to APRN?
Now, THAT'S what I'm talking about-you go, girl! ☻ Great accomplishment!

Humana Employees
I work for an agency that handles the staffing for senior bridge. I have heard a lot of stories about being hired on by various entities, and each one makes me more thankful I didn't hire directly w/Humana

Humana Employees
It's gonna be okay, I promise...why don't u re-read my post and tell me who I said I work for...? Not Humana. Maybe u should start a job search to reduce your stress level...

Humana Employees
Sorry about the late response! :) I work for a staffing company hired by Humana(hope that makes sense). Because I am a field CM, I make my own hours, and a FT caseload starts @17 clients/week and caps out around 20. I am PRN right now, so the pay is per client/per week. It's a really nice gig so far

Field CM Agencies?
I see! Thank you so much for your post-you may have just saved mine; I am now replaying convo's in my head, and have been oblivious to what is now a very obvious 'song-and-dance'. I hate that things are set up that way, but not enough to take part in something that could jeopardize my license. Thanks again!!! :)

Field CM Agencies?
Thanks for the heads-up! :) I have a PRN job that I absolutely adore, and it would take something close to a miracle for me to give it up entirely-no matter how good the CM positions sound. You are right, they do make these positions sound super-sweet... With that being said-is the licensure issue you are referring to one that would arise if calling a member in another state? Or maybe you are referring to liability/PUP insurance...? Thanks again!!!

Advice please
Thank you! :) It was a blessing in disguise, really. I appreciate your kind words! :)

Field CM Agencies?
I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences working as a Care Manager and maybe give some insight into what a typical day is like in this capacity.

Field CM Agencies?
Has anyone had experience working as a field Care Manager through SeniorBridge? I know they are a subsidiary of Humana, but the openings I've seen have been through staffing agencies...

Advice please
Way to go!!! Congratulations on the new job!!! :) I came across this thread while researching QA & UR nursing jobs to answer the same question for myself. I don't have any advice for you(in the same boat), but I do want to encourage you! I have had several risk analysis and compliance/quality jobs as an LPN, and was just layed off. For what it's worth, they kept only RN employees.
