I had a Littman and they only have a 2 year warranty. I now have an MDF, they have a lifetime warranty. I prefer that over a Littman, better acoustic's to me.

The only thing is it's hard to get specialized in some of those. I would love to do wound care but they are turning that over to RNs. They want you to be certified but you have to have a years experience to get certified. Frustrating.

I know that it is useless in the car. But why would you bring it in a hospital? Not a place for a weapon. You have security there and if you are nervous walking out to your car, have them walk you out. I have plenty of times. I am all for gun rights...

Do you have a "brain" that you carry around with you? In other words, a paper, small notebook that you can jot things down what you did for pt's during the day and maybe will help along with charting at the end of the day quicker?
