I was wondering if someone could answer my question. I'm applying to uh Victoria for the spring 2014 semester. The deadline is October 1st and I still need to send my teas to the UH victoria campus and transcripts to the nursing CAS website. If I do it today, will it still get there on time?

Do you know if they consider the science GPA more than overall prerequisites?

I am 22. I graduate this December 2013 with my Bachelors of Science in Public Health and I am applying to nursing school for either spring or summer 2014. I have no kids and an amazing supportive boyfriend (who puts up with me when I'm stressed) :) lol I plan on earning my BSN by 24 and then get my MSN.

Hello everyone! I will be applying to the Psych/Mental health program for the summer 2014 admission. I was wondering if any of you guys who got admitted can give me some advice! I haven't taken my GRE yet but I'm planning on taking it September. What was the lowest GPA and GRE score that they admitted? Jw because I'm sooo nervous!

Thank you!! I hope so :) I started volunteering in the emergency department at a hospital when I was 15. I did that for about 2 years and then was accepted to an internship as a CNA when I was 18. I worked with transplant patients and I loved it! I had to quit because I moved away for school but then I got into a shadowing nurses program when I was 21. I did that for a couple of months.. (I'm now 22)

Yes I already finished my prerequisites and will graduate this December 2013. I have a 3.5 in the science gpa but my overall gpa is not that good.. I have experience working in a hospital so I'm hoping that helps as well.

Hey everyone! I'm studying the for the TEAS exam and I wanted some suggestions. Do you guys think that the practice tests in the ATI book are similar to the actual exam? I'm doing all of the practice tests for each section and then focusing on the ones I missed. Thanks

Some people have gotten in with lower than GPA's than 4.0. You don't necessarily have to get all A's.

No I have not. I actually just sent in my transcript and will take my HESI the first week of August. I know I'm a little late with everything but I've been studying for my TEAS exam as well.. I have all my science prerequisites done and have like a 3.5. My non science gpa is not that good. I only have a 2.8 but I'm hoping that my hesi exam goes well and they see that as well as my science gpa. I will keep you guys updated
