Do you need to study? Yes. But don't stress too much with studying the ccrn is not a very hard test.
  7. We have a mixed icu and step down occasionally our imcu patients will be on vasoactive drips. Our policy has some lingo in it that they can be on drips and Imcu but the drips are supposed to be essentially static with little titration. But in reality these patients are treated like an icu patient just charged less.
  8. In the case of peep of 40 I mentioned the patient was over 800lbs. And severely septic. Unfortunately despite our efforts did not make it (but did for 5 or 6 days with that 40 of peep and 100% fi02) patient was also on 200 of neo .07 vasopressin 60 to 80 of norepi and 80 to 100mcg/min epi
  9. Peep of 40
  10. Congrats to you. Looks like I'm the only one on the forum that hasn't got in either here or somewhere else...
  11. Keep at it man set your goals and go for them. I remember being in your shoes about 7 years ago, it's a long road ahead but very doable IF you are really committed. I am in the process of applying/ interviewing right now.
  12. No idea.. I plan on refinancing my home for the cash if I get into a school
  13. That would be crazy to get an offer like that... but if they called and said can you be here tomorrow I would be there.
  14. Just received word I've been placed on the waitlist
  15. Tomorrow is supposed to be the final decision day!
  16. No the standards continue to be high, you have to prove you can be the best to be the best, and crna's are the best
  17. Wow that's a lot of applications! You are bound to be accepted to one!
  18. Good luck to you I had a 307 gre ( I sucked at the reading portion!) I am 27 years old. Also according to the website they had 80 some applicants last year (not sure if that is the most current though). Have you applied to other schools in the past or are you applying to other schools this year? I am applying to the Franciscan skemp program also next month.
