I find out this week if I got accepted or not. The deadline was March 15. I have been nervous about it since I turned in my Application.

I was shadowing under an ER doc one night and we saw an old woman that said she has been dizzy for 6 months. My thoughts were that she was crazy!!!

Could you tell me if there is a lot of dirty work done in the ICU?? for Example: wipeing butts

Could someone help me with something? I am a pre-nursing major going into my second year. I know as a nurse you do have to do some gosh stuff like cleaning poop, cleaning vomit, etc.... but is that like an everyday thing? or what? Also is the ICU a bad place to work? And I want to be a CRNA, I think. Should I stick with the nursing thing? or just go to med-school and become an anesthesiologist?

I am a pre-nursing student right now going into my second year of my pre-requisties. And I live in Alabama and am looking into becoming a CRNA as well. HOw I became interested in the CRNA field is because my girlfriend's dad is a CRNA and I went to work with him one day and I thought it was real exciting!! I love the OR. In my career I want to work in the OR and also see patients before and after surgery, so I figured the CRNA thing would be good for me. But im still not sure yet. Im probably going to go back to work with him some more just so I can be sure that's what I want to do. My advice to you is to shadow under a CRNA just so you will get a real idea of what they do. Hope I could be some help

I am a pre-nursing student and am looking in to becoming a CRNA. I'm a fairly good student and easy to get along with. But from what some of the guys on this post have said is kinda scaring me away from nursing school, and now im starting to think if I should just go to med school. I dont know please someone give me some advice!!

I am a nursing major and everyone keeps telling me that nursing school is really hard. I want to be a CRNA. I had a guy tell me that the nursing school at which I may go to is the hardest thing at the university besides chemical engineering. Can somebody tell me if it is true about nursing school being so hard??

I am a male with a nursing major. I am about to be going into my 2nd year of of pre-re. When I tell people i am a nursing major some people say that is good and some people say to me'' man I dont want to be giving people baths all day and helping them go to the bathroom.'' I was wondering if someone can tell that there is a lot more to it than that.
