I have been debating about taking a CNA course. I am on the backup list for LPN school and should start in January but I assume that if I took a CNA course now it would help me when going through LPN school. Does anyone have any advise?

If you are in Polk County there are two technical schools that offer the LPN program. One is Ridge Tech.(between Winter Haven and Haines City) and Travis Tech.(Lakeland) Polk Community College also offers the RN program as well.

This might be a really dumb question but how are you able to get in a BSN program without already being a nurse? Once you finish the BSN program are you a RN? What schools offer this?
