  2. I am soooo excited/nervous to start school!!! I wish August would get here already! I already got the school's "to do list" all taken care ordering uniforms, books, all my supplies and stuff... i'm only a little excited. (and i hope this excitement sticks for the next two years!) :)
  3. Sending you positive thoughts!!! :)
  4. Hi everyone. I have pre-admission day next week. :) Nervous and excited that its actually happening! We can do this!
  5. I like your idea SO much better!! We just used lotion and grease pencils. :)
  6. I am taking AP 1 now and also took it previously (and passed) in a massage program. The way we learned in massage school was drawing bones/muscles on each other. It helped A LOT to be able to see the bone and muscle and where they attach to. Also theres a really cool Anatomy coloring book that is helpful when beginning to learn bones and muscles.
  7. It seems like all nursing schools have their own requirements for entrance. The school I applied to goes by the overall score. When you get your results, you get an overall score then scores broken down by the 4 categories. Good luck!
  8. I studied about an hour a day..... Or at least I tried to!
  9. I'm 30 and just passed my entrance exam. :) Waiting now to hear from school on next steps. I hope to start fall this year. :) it's fun being older and going back to school!
  10. I was reading the ATI Book/Answering questions at least an hour a day plus I downloaded this app for my iPhone called PocketPrep that helped a ton so any time I didn't have the book with me I could run through questions. The app was like $10 but totally worth it.
  11. Congrats!!! I am 30 and just starting! Its never to late. :)
  12. I was told I would get a letter in the next few days to set up the interview... I'm already mailman stalking. :)
  13. I am so excited I passed my TEAS test today on the first try. I am so relieved!!!! The hours upon hours of studying paid off.
  14. I am taking AP 1 through the summer in 11 weeks. I prefer sciences in the condensed summer to a regular semester actually. They go by quicker and by the time the final rolls around, you havent had time to forget everything you learned in the beginning of the semester. :)
