@justinha usually the ATT is sent automatically once the board sends over eligibility. I live in VA and my I received my ATT same day as my approval from the BON. I would contact the nursing department in your state to make sure nothing is missing.

@Future RN 2020 when I studied for my RN NCLEX. I utilized NCLEX mastery app RN. I did 50-75 questions a day reviewing content the ones I got wrong. I was averaging around 59 % on the app. I also used Hurst review. I mostly watched the content videos. Hurst review helps understand content and how to answer NCLEX questions. Hurst also uses simulator exam that suggest 77/125. Doing questions everyday helps with content and critical thinking through questions. And watching content videos such as lab values, major meds, disease processes and delegation and priority. I hope this helps

@Dajunia Gore not really sure. It all depends on the licensing process. I’m in the state of VA. I’ve taken my NCLEX already and received my official license in two day. I would maybe call to see when they will have it processed.

@V.E.03 Hurst is about a month long. It focuses on content and specialties. It has quizzes that prepare you NCLEX. I highly recommend it. NCLEX mastery RN was my next source that I used. I didn’t use any other NCLEX prep sources. I felt that the more being utilized it can cause confusion.

Temp license normally valid 90 days not really sure if any changes due to Covid.

I would recommend Hurst live review, follow the program to the end. I utilized Hurst in nursing school. It teaches content and how to answer NCLEX questions. I passed my boards utilizing Hurst as well as NCLEX mastery app RN.

VA operates a bit different. I took my NCLEX RN this past Saturday. No results from Pearson Vue but my license was up on the board of nursing around 9 this morning.

I was nervous myself, totally normal. I found out this morning I officially passed. I honestly scheduled my test on the earliest day and took it.

I’ve since received my ATT and tested 2/6/21

I took my NCLEX 2/6/21 8 am, the exam shut off at 75 questions. I did the Pearson Vue trick that night 12 hours after the exam and got the good pop up “our records indicates....” my anxiety is so bad since it’s the weekend. I felt OK during the test some stuff I knew but other I felt like I was giving my educated guess.

Hi, I personally experienced what you have written. It’s completely normal during times of our career. I sort of took a step back and remembered why I became a nurse. Sometimes we get into the busyness of life and forgot why we chosen this field. As with school I was on and off the past 5 years wanting to compete my RN. I knew deep down that if decided to stay an LPN, one would I regret not going back to further my education. Ultimately I went back in 2020 and obtained my ADN. This experience had given me an greater understanding of nursing and most importantly more opportunities. I would say go with your heart and most importantly never forget why you became that great nurse.

Congratulations on passing the NCLEX. I still haven’t received my ATT been about a month now since my initial application. The VA BON stays 30 business days but can be up to 45 . It’s frustrating but out my hands currently.

Hi, I went to private college eastern Virginia career college. The HESI exit was worth more than 30% of our final grade. While we also had a custom HESI for adult nursing 2 that was worth more than 10% of our grade. Both these exams required students to know the material in order to graduate. The program is accelerated for the ADN students. The program length is 12 months traditional students and about 7 for LPN to RN. I recommend this school. It’s tough but doable.

I would email a copy to them. My employer only requested the email authorizing me to test.

The only thing you usually receive is an ATT. In Virginia that acts as a temporary license for 90 days.

The process is very slow. But I guess being patient is the only option .I graduated on the 18th, sent my application the same day. My program sends attestations to the BON. I have a job lined up that requires my ATT to start.

I reached out to the BON, they stated. 30 business days not including weekends. The process is so long.

Any students that just graduated in December who are waiting for there ATT.

I’ve been utilizing Hurst review in preparation for my RN NCLEX. The questions are very much difficult but they indicate students will pass on first try with there study program. My nursing program also utilized the HESI exit. Any students that score above 850 high probability of passing. We know the material already just trust your knowledge.

I’m excited to announce the completion of my RN. This year with Covid and all made it seem impossible to progress through. My program required an exit exam, which I scored a 929 on the first attempt. The amount of studying and dedication put into nursing school paid off. Next NCLEX!

I would attempt to reach out to the college and see what they advise in regards to GPA boosting. I’m currently in a advanced standing lpn to RN transition program. My GPA was right around 2.89 getting in. The college looks at test scores and overall admission interview and what. Not . But keep pushing and don’t give up!! In time grades will improve!

I'm also testing June 28th for my LPN in Virginia, I've been using passpoint and nclex mastery app although my scores on passpoint are great, the nclex mastery app my percentage is a 55% that worries.
