  1. @Future RN 2020- I don't know what you've used to study but considering that I too have failed I don't really want to suggest anything. I have found that after using the Mark K audio's my scores on my last NCLEX improved a lot! That and U-world! The last thing is don't GIVE UP! Cry, get frustrated, be disappointed but don't allow yourself to fall into such sadness. I did and just finding the motivation and drive to keep studying some days was so difficult. Understand that a lot more people fail than they speak about, but you are not alone! @Mikefc19 I've heard about Hurst! Is it as good as they say? How long does it take to complete the program?
  2. @kamilleh174 I definitely learned that if I used too many resources it was too overwhelming for me! So I think this time around im going to stick to 1 or 2 and leave it at that. The other thing about using so many programs is that sometimes the numbers are off or the explanations and I found myself trying to understand which explanation was correct. I too have felt the anxiety of sitting down and then filling my mind with negative thoughts. "What if I fail", "Oh no I got the last answer wrong" etc. I def do think that we have to go in there believing in ourselves despite the times we have failed. I don't know who you are personally, but I am confident that you will pass. Just remember you finished 99% of what you need to become a nurse, all you have left is that 1%! WE CAN DO THIS! I do think the Mark K audios are amazing. He gives great pointers and I do think that is why my scores also improved this NCLEX. I have also gotten approval to retest but my weakness is that I keep changing my date because I get scared. If it makes you feel any better 1 of my good friends told me recently that there is an AMAZING NP that works on her floor. The NP took her NCLEX 6 times before passing but now shes a NP and was known as one of the best RN's on her unit! I hope you never forget that the most difficult struggles have the most beautiful outcomes, but most importantly have you appreciate things just a little more. WE CAN DO IT!
  3. @kamilleh174 Hi! it feels so nice to know Im not alone. Im sorry to hear you still haven't passed as well. I understand the frustration and the toll it takes on us. I also have have used u-world. This first time around I really studied the material and I actually saw an improvement in my score. I also used Youtube: Sarah registered nurse RN and she was amazing. I have now purchased Kaplan (even if I wasn't a fan but figured I needed something new) I also purchased UWorld again. Yes, we defiantly cannot give up! I also suffer from really bad anxiety and also feel like it plays a factor in me taking my test. I do plan on retaking, and I hope you do as well. I know we can do it!! Also as a side note I also used the Mark K audios! They were also very good!
  4. I've failed NCLEX three times. The first time I took it I will admit, I didn't study and went to take it anyway. The second time I studied but was dealing with some problems at home and I felt like that took away from me believing in myself. This last time I studied and of the 8 categories I got above passing on one subject 4 near the passing and 3 below. I feel like I will never pass and Im starting to lose hope. Has anyone every taken it this many times? Im also starting to feel like I'm incompetent to be a nurse. Just looking for motivation or situations for those that have taken it many times and ended up passing.
  5. @p1glet/ @Nursseeeeecee sending all my positivity to you both this morning, let me know how the interviews go! ?
  6. @p1glet YAY! I submitted my application on June 4th and have not heard anything yet, but maybe they're going day by day. Is it an in-person interview or phone interview?
  7. Hello, I just wanted to see if anyone else applied for the Martin Luther King Jr Community Hospital- Versant Program for August 2020? Has anyone gotten anything back yet?
  8. I just wanted to know how many other people were like me, still waiting to take NCLEX and find it very difficult to get a closer date since they canceled so many tests and now everyone is scrambling to find a date. Also, I see so many nursing students trying to get a bill passed so that they may assist in hospitals and additionally finish clinical hours, but has anyone heard if they are willing to allow those waiting to test for NCLEX to assist as well? How do those of you waiting to test feel about helping during the coronavirus?
  9. Its student nurses and those waiting to take NCLEX. I was scheduled before they canceled my Pearson test.
