  1. Thank you for sharing this...
  2. I am new in this role, about 6 months and the link that you shared gives me a wider perspective. Thank you!
  3. We went live with Soarian Clinicals last April. Our soarian includes CPOE and nursing documentation. We are on computerized medication admin for 7 years. The only thing i would say, there is no perfect system. All Clinicians should be watchful for whatever it brings for patient safety.
  4. I am a new clinical nurse informatics and we are on the second week of go-live for soarian clinicals. Any advise? Does anyone know if there's a training for soarian?
  5. Just like you do I also started this Jan. and we are preparing for EMR go-live this April. Imagine my world, fresh from the bedside, not a hard core techy savvy, but a bedside nurse for 18 years. I am the first clinical informaticist in our organization. I am a newly graduated MSN/Informatics. So for my fellow nurses, if you want a challenge, go for it.
  6. I am a new nurse informatcist. I started in january 22, a day after my last class as an MSN/Informatics. I have been a bedside nurse for 15 years and its time to look for other areas of the nursing profession. Our facility is in the move of implementing EMR/CPOE, and I became a nurse resource. I am excited in this new position but I still on verge if knowing what are our roles and what else I needed to know. I would love to connect with newbies and veterans out there in nursing informatics. Thanks, Ces
