  1. Hi there CarribRN, Can you please explain further? I thought that would be a good jumpstart especially those waiting in line for sometime now.
  2. Good morning everyone! Does anyone here has experienced moving from one agency to another with an approved I140 Petition already from the former agency? Any advise? Just a run thru about my case, previous agency handles my case awfully bad. All petitions, notices are being held by them but willing to settle amicably just so I can move on my papers. FYI, PD is nearing, possibly early quarter next year. Another agency is offering to take on my case, more transparent and open about my status updates. Legitimate agency too with proven track record.
  3. Hey Heinrick, that sounds easy and fast to me. In that case, I might as well do that. Thanks for that info. :dncgbby:
  4. Thank you nurseako... I was gonna forego about this nurse thingy already. Yes, will work it out now. Keep us posted about your case.
  5. Hello Nurseako, may I ask how much did you spend for the renewal of visa screen so that I will have an idea how much to prepare, and thank you very much for the advise. It is an eye opener for me.
  6. Hello Heinrick, Yes I am working as a "volunteer" nurse at the moment just so I can have current practice. I am thinking of taking ielts anytime between dec 3 or 10. Thanks again for the advise, might as well inform my agency about my plans. The way they handle my case really sucks. I am thinking actually of moving to another agency, two have signified my case is still doable. what do u think?
  7. Hey Heinrick, thanks for the reply. So what have you been doing while waiting? Have you updated your papers already like visa screen? I feel somewhat ambivalent about the whole thing because my agency left me in the middle, they do not even get in touch with me. I am taking the initiative to renew visa screen tho, still reapplying for ielts. I don't know, but I am beginning to feel wary. What can you advise?
  8. mine is feb 6, 2006... when do you think will be my interview? wild guess, anyone?
  9. Thanks for the reply... Yes, at the start of the year to be exact January 2008, I was asked to prepare an updated documents by my agency such as updated DS230, recent 2x2 pics, updated nbi clearance, birth cert and marriage cert. because they are aware that once my case gets current, I am required to submit all these stuff again. Last August 2006, I was already documentarily qualified then retrogression hits us that same year. Anyway, keep us posted here about your case. Angeldust
  10. Hi Neneng06 We have the same PD Feb 2006. I called up NVC hotline but automated response is still the same about having generated visa fee bill letter blah, blah, blah.... I'd like to know, how did you find out that your case has been completed, was it through the automated response or you called up the assistance of an operator on the NVC hotline. My agency is not giving so much info on this matter. Had it not for the email i sent few years back to NVC, I wouldn't have known my case number. I would appreciate if you can shed me some light. Thanks! Angeldust
  11. I have a question regarding my status. My PD is Feb 6, 2006 making me current this May VB. When I called the NVC hotline, the voice prompt I received said they have generated my visa fee bill letter Apr 21, 2008 and will be sent within weeks thru mail anytime soon now, and that I will follow the instructions written on it and return it to the Agency. I asked my agency about my visa fee, I was told they have paid it already last July 19, 2006. Is the visa fee bill on the NVC voice prompt that was mentioned are for my dependents? Any case here that is same as mine. angeldust
  12. hi mtjmnov, i took mine with barely a month to prepare. I used Kaplan but i suggest you always aim high in your score even if you are still reviewing. A percentage of 80 to 90 is good. Make sure to read all the rationales. Try using the NCSBN review materials as well. I only chance upon it from a friend. Luckily for me I had two days to run through some questions before my NCLEX schedule. It helped a lot. Just send me a pm should you need more tips. Good luck!
  13. Oppps, correction everyone, the site i was referring is Newsletter Issue16 Take note of the issue16. The site I previously referred to would take you back to issue 15.
  14. Hey check this out. I am crossing my fingers here that a positive outcome may come to happen as far as resolving the retro issues before this 2006 ends.Visit this site, a good source of information Newsletter Issue16. Opinion anyone?
  15. Hi! I am interested to work as a nurse in NZ.I am an RN here in the Phils. I already passed english test. So, where do I start? Is it necessary to look for an agency or apply directly to the BON of NZ for registration? Please, I need your advise. TY!!!
  16. Hi Windtraveler! I am an RN from the Philippines. I am interested to work as a nurse in Oz,what advice can you give? I am done with IELTS (english test) already.
  17. True. I have inquired for my NVC case number, they replied after 2 days informing me of my case number.
  18. Hi happylearning and silverdragon, Thank you so much for the quick responses. This is indeed a great site for nurses. Personally, I am learning so much here. God bless!
  19. Hi Rep! Can you clarify to me which is PD between the 2 dates. You have more legal knowledge on this issue. It says here, USCIS Notice date is 2-6-06 then date of I-140 approval is 4-4-06. So, which is the PD date? It is a little bit confusing.
  20. Hello everyone.... Yes I got a receipt number already but they cannot provide me yet with NVC case number. The remarks given to me is YOUR CASE NUMBER HAS BEEN SENT TO YOUR HOME ADDRESS (CHOICE OF AGENT LETTER). I am quite confused because I was thinking all correspondence are channeled to them. There were just lots of forms I filled up in the past. Anyhow, with this new info would it mean NVC has mailed my case number directly to my residence? So far, I receive none. Anyone, please I need your opinion/ideas about this issue. Thank you all in advance.
  21. Hi Suzanne! Yes, I was selected last year. And as far as I-140 filing goes, my agency says it has been approved. Been trying to ask them for detailed informations like USCIS Receipt Number if I am right and date of approval of I-140. The latest update they told me was my papers were already reviewed at NVC last Aug 22, 2006 and has remarks as completed except that til now I have no embassy interview sched. Most of those that were selected along with me last year were already done with interview, have departure dates while some are simply waiting for the interview date. Yeah, I have been asking them for an explanation why it took them so long to file my case if let say Aug 22, 2006 is my PD. Considering the timeframe I got selected, it is nearly a year. That's too long while one friend of mine who processed her papers with another agency early part this year already got her visa last week. Til then I will just update everyone here for any progress. Looks like a lot of us are on the same boat. Once again, thank you Suzanne for your reply. I am sure a lot of us benefited from that information.
  22. Thank you agp_ph. This is really big help for me. Like what everyone says,it is best to get documents for full proof that they are indeed doing their job. So far, the latest that they've told me was that my papers were already at NVC on August 22, 2006, with remarks as completed. This does not sound promising though.
  23. for sure they want to make sure i am tied down with them.
  24. Hey Silverdragon, Is Processing Date is the time your I-140 got approved. I am a little bit confused about PD having read too many infos for today. I hope you can clarify me about this area. Thanks!
  25. Everyone, thanks for the advises. I have been trying to ask them about all those infos you supplied since I started getting on line today but seems like I am getting no response... Only answers like I will refer your case to our documents manager. I will just update you all for any progress in information, if I have any luck at all.
