  1. I started in psych. I left and went to med-surg. And now I'm back in psych!
  2. In my case, a BF is the cause of it.
  3. Wow ok I may seem boring, but I am a morning person! It is still hard to get up early. But I usually pack my lunch the night before and have all of my things ready as well. When my alarm goes off at 0430, with my eyes half open, I just get up and stumble straight to the coffee pot!
  4. I'm an LPN/LVN and I do work in a hospital, that does hire LPN's.
  5. Just curious... Did you ever find out what that word was?
  6. I would certainly get the most recent edition of NCLEX review material. Saunders is good. I also used the NCSBN Learning Extension for review. NCSBN Learning Extension . NCLEX preparation . Continuing Education for Nurses . Nursing Faculty Education
  7. Put in your info and voila! Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians
  8. I usually have eggs and wheat toast for breakfast, but some days, I'm just not feeling breakfast. When that happens, I have a protein shake. I always have coffee and I always bring quick healthy snacks and try to eat every 3-4 hours.
  9. Yaaaay!! Congratulations!!! :D
  10. Grats on passing HESI! When I took the NCLEX, I studied Saunders, NCSBN Review, and a little ATI.
  11. Call back. Never too late. Just tell her that you're returning her call. Let her know you returned her call earlier, but she was busy, and ask if she received your message.

    Grats for passing!! :)
  13. If EA is your first choice, then wait the 30 days to retake it. If I'm reading it right, the only difference between the 2 schools sounds like it's 4K. To me, 1.5 hours one way is a long trip, but if you're motivated enough to do it consistently throughout the program, then bravo! The rep at the school closer to you sounds like she's just trying to get you enrolled in anything she can to make a quota. If you want to be an LPN, then that is what you should do. At least as an LPN, in the future, you can enroll in an LPN to RN program and receive credit.
  14. Science pre-reqs online exist, but are hard to come by. When you do find them, they are very expensive, mostly because of the lab components. Personally, I would recommend physically taking those classes in the classroom. But I also understand sometimes that is difficult. I'm sure there are more, but I know of one school that is approved for their science pre-reqs. Ocean County CollegeWhatever class you take, make sure it is from an accredited school and will be accepted by the institution you will be pursuing a degree from. I would check with them before taking any pre-req classes.
