He has been advised by a consultancy in India to pick up a two year study program 'Social Service Worker' for migration and job prospectus... Canadian friends kindly give your opinion on this... He is a nursing graduate who has fairly good communication in English IELTS score of 6.5, and my doubt is why he has to take up a program that is 'social service worker' does that relate to be a career perspective of nurses? If it is a yes, then what are the career prospectus of the program... also please do give an idea of the average salary in BC. Bonjour.i'm a guy...its really hard to decide which one is the worst.... lol...ER is pure adrenaline, i just love being around, but it will also get you burned out quick - remember to get your adequate time off... bullying is one problem, but from my personal experience, having more number of men can reduce the sort of itching and stabbing behind the back...From my personal experience, leaving nursing is one hell of a task... especially with all the loans to pay back... hmmm... and i myself have tried to pursue many careers, but fresh careers related to nursing but not really nursing are pretty much hard to find... its better to introspect and follow your passion... but getting a fresh start is pretty tough challenge... I'm a RN who did medical transcription for about an year, then came back into nursing, now performing part time as radio jockey so that i can sort of contain myself from burnouts... hmmm... I can say that after having patients, doctors, and other nurses come on to me many times. Nurses can already get disrespected, and really have to set the limits, so they can function professionally in their roles as nurses. i guess thats something i too agree on...I think i have studied something about "Dark ages of Nursing" during my first year in Foundations of nursing... was not all that found about the foundations, hehe, but i've done a quick wiki and heres -" Industrial class women took in work or went out to work.
