    gee and to think that where i work we're still trying to get them to quit listing our last names on our badges, much less that we're lpn, rn, cna whatever.

    Go for it... you'll get that experience under your belt and you'll find out just how much you'll like the job. Also being an LPN isn't a bad thing, it's just a different route.
  4. Since I work in LTC can I have someone invent an anti-gravity device to keep the pt IN the bed and not the floor, so I would just have to chart how many times they tried to defy gravity and not incident reports

    I bought a "miner's" headlamp, just so I could see where I was trying to put the catheter on some of my patients.

    I've worked 2p-10p shift for 3 years in LTC & I'm finally going to 3rd shift where I don't have the DON giving me a "honey-do" list anymore . Don't get me wrong, where I work the administation isn't circling like vultures, but I needed a change.
