Current salary at state hospital-90K She said the offer was firm Ive never worked at VA and want to know if I can counter her offer DO you know how many pay scales they have in terms of where mine is. Thanks Lexi areasontocare with hot mail is my mail
  3. Which program are you referring to and which school will you be attending?
  4. Which program did you choose? I applied to several- USC Columbia, SC; USI- and got totally screwed by them before classes got midway. GRU, USA, and Wilkes. I choose Cincinnati instead. I do not have a study partner as yet. When are you starting? I am starting summer 2016. Let me know if you are going to UC and I we can be study buddies. It really makes a difference especially when your family cannot understand what you are doing and cant quiz you either.
  5. Lildrekie, Are you still in the program. I'd love to hear how it's going if you are still in the program. I am working full time and want to know if I need to switch to PT. [email protected] Nelli
  6. lildrekie, Are you still in the psych np program at Ucinn? How was it - did you have to work weeks ahead to stay ahead in course work. let me know - areasontocare at hotmail
  7. I just got accepted to start the psych program this summer. Anyone else starting this summer? When do you get the syllabus? I always like to work ahead. When I was at Umass, we got our syllabuses 2 months before classes started.
  8. Have you been accepted into the program or you are just researching the various programs. APris
  9. I can certainly attest to APEA question bank online because the tutor mode allows you to solidify your studying by showing you the rationale right then and there. And you can also study the areas that you are weak in. You don't get that from the audio CDs or the review books. And besides, the online review is good practice for the real exam.
  10. Nursing is my life but I branched into social services because many of my patients in the clinic had medical treatment but no treatment for their mental health. So their lives fell apart because they had no where to turn, did not know what effective coping skills were or a good support network. When I started a group at the clinic, a few came at first then more. Now I have 3 groups going and now the patients are more compliant with their care and treatment. I love nursing but love it more from a holistic perspective. M next project in nursing- obesity - reducing the numbers through education and support.
  11. Hi,There are lots of review businesses who target people like us who want to do well and search for quality materials. I went to a website that claimed it was 29.99 for an online review for the FNP. Family Nurse Practitioner study and review for FNP certification - Exam Master Corporation. Well after I paid the fee, I could not access anything. When I called, I was informed by the crooked company's rep that the 30 fee was only for access to the site. Each practice test was 30. Be careful. We already spend a great deal of money on school and the exam. I purchased Leik's and went to Barkley's review. Both had very useful information as far as breaking the information down.

  13. Hi! Don't look at the unsuccessful attempts at failure. They are not. You are enough to past the exam. Think of your 3 attempts as preparation to pass. Take some time away from everyone and your books. Clear your mind from all your thoughts about your past attempts and how you feel. Find a new place to start and add only positive thoughts and goals. You cannot look at it as failure because you did not fail. You are intelligent because you completed the program. Failure is for those who never tried and those who quit. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>> There is a saying that I found a few weeks ago and I want you to think about it as you prepare to take the exam and PASS!!!! Here is the quote by Samuel Becket. Think about it and reflect on how far you have come and how how far you are going to go!!!!!! Remember, You are Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ever tried? Ever failed? No Matter. Try Again. Fail Again. FAIL BETTER!!!! C'est la vie mon cherie
  14. that sounds exactly like my test to a t.
