Anbo3882, that is awesome! Mayo is near the Desert Ridge area. Also north scottsdale would be good to look at. I can give you my email and give you some good, safe cross streets to look at! I'm in Arcadia, its a beautiful area but not as close as I would like, about 20 minutes away.

I have not heard anything but a friend who interviewed for the ICU spot got the background check email too.

She told me they are interviewing until December 5th. And then 1-2 weeks for offers to go out. At least we will know one way or the other in the next 2 weeks. I interviewed in the beginning of November so this has been brutal!

I interviewed as well! I wanted to follow this thread so I know when to obsessively begin checking my email, mayo job status, and answering calls from random numbers..We should know in a couple of weeks! :) Good luck to all!

I interviewed for the Feb 2015 Nurse Residency program a couple of weeks ago and the wait to find out if I made it in or not is killing me!! I know they are doing interviews until Dec 5th. The woman interviewing me told me they would decide after that. I trying to concentrate on the holidays and not think about it but its tough! Good luck to all that applied!!

I don't think it is too intense. There are for sure some stressfull times but it's completely manageable.

I wash them every time. Our clinicals are 12 hours, I can't imagine wanting to wear them twice.

I had a bad accident in high school and have had surgery on my right ankle 8 times over the years. The arthritis is so bad at this point I know I am only years away from having it fused. Anyway, I'm in NS now and its no worse than it was before.. painful but tolerable. I really want to get my bsn and my masters, I'm not going to let it hold me back.

So at the meeting today they went over the immunization packet. They gave us the start date, May 13 and our tentative orientation date, April 10..they will keep us posted on that one. They gave us a webpage that I can post with info about our cohort..deadlines etc.. That's all I can think of right now but I'm tired. :)
