  1. You need a convenient way to study. I've been using mobile apps on my phone and ipad so I can study anywhere or when I get a quick break at work. My favorite so far is NCLEX Mastery ($25) and NCLEX Flashcards (Free, but not nearly as good)
  2. I'm on the NCLEX Mastery bandwagon! I can't recommend it enough!
  3. A classmate of mine was raving about NCLEX Mastery and got a few others to buy it (including me). So far, its great! I wish I had this the past few years of nursing school as quick practice for nclex questions and critical thinking
  4. Jamie, I agree that NCLEX Mastery is the best, ATI is really good too (just doesn't look as good). I have never been impressed with most of the "top" listed apple apps for NCLEX
  5. I wasn't a big fan of NCLEX 3500. Most questions were too easy. There are some great apps out there for iphone/android. I used a few of them and I passed my NCLEX.
  6. Too much knowledge/ intelligence is dangerous, therefore you must use it wisely! As what they say, you need to be humble, even if you know a lot! In work, it's not only the knowledge and skills which are important..you must also posses the right attitude so that you can go along well with your peers.!
  7. yeay!!so happy to hear NCLEX success stories,,congratulations!!!
  8. As a new nurse, I know it will be hard for me to face situation similar to this in the future! I find this thread very helpful as I already have the idea how to deal with it if my time comes!
  9. I think you will just feel it in yourself, if you are ready or not...you know what preparations you did more than anyone else! just be positive and wish you all the luck
  10. That's exactly how I felt when I took my test!but don't let your nervousness take over as it's not going to help, especially if you think you did all your best for the preparation. All will just come out of your mind while taking the test! be confident and have faith!Good luck and all the best
  11. Congratulations to all of you who passed!welcome to the world of nurses=)!
  12. you are indeed lucky=)!congratulations and best of luck to your new job!
  13. Good Nurses are good nurses and I think that will always surface whenever and wherever they are!I'm just so glad that I am in the caring profession as I am always given the opportunity to touch people's lives. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us and happy that you're okay even after the accident=)
  14. I know how it feels if others are expecting too much from you, but as much as possible, don't stress out yourself too much meeting their expectations, it's not healthy...I know they can understand you, anyway what you're doing is not just for yourself but for them as well! Since nursing is a very demanding course , it's expected that you really have to make sacrifices. Always look at the brighter side every time you encounter difficulties in your studies. Good luck to you and wishing you all the luck
  15. Congratulations for passing and self review at that!!!Good job
