Hi:) all hospitals in nevada accepts online application:) they are not entertaining walk in applicants but if you want to apply in long term facility there's a lot:) i would recommend you to apply personally(walk in) in bursing homes. Thats what i did :) but it is still up to you. Most hosp are nt accepting new grads so its just applybon nursing homes first:) wish u all the luck:)

Dnt worry everything will fall into places. J waitwd for ca for 8mos! To the point that i almost give up! Just keep on checking and calling that is what i did. Everytime i send them my requirements i call them:)

I agree with you one of my friend who is based here in nv as well told me its a little low. It is a rehab facility and most of rehab pays 27 for starting. The employer told me that i cant ask and tell others about my salary! That made me suspicious if theyvare paying me right:( im not sure really! Hahahaha

Hehe yeah thanks for the advice. Im new here ni nevada and i didnt know that there's no state tax. I thought the employer is ripping me off (iknow it is silly to think that way) :) but yeah i just want to know the range so i know that theyvare being honest coz they told me i cant tell other employyes my rate and im not allowed to ask others about theirs too. And that made me curious if they are being honest with the starting rate:))

Hi :) did you try chexking nursys for ur license? I got mine just in 2 weeks? Nevada does not issue a card license, maybe you already have a license, they issued me a temporary license and i just keep checking it online on nursys:)

Hi :) dont worry nv bon is way more considerate than ca. I graduated 2010 in the phils passed my nclex 2011 in ny and this 2012 i tried to endorse it in ca but with no luck! I moved to nv and got my first job:) inonly had to wait 2 weeks for nevada ro process my license compared to ca which i waited for 6 mos and git denied! Well goodluck:)

I got an offer in vegas for 25/hr im not sure if i will take it coz my friends told me ghat they got a job that oays 30/hr and they dnt have exp as well. Im not sure if they are just joking around or what! Haha but i might get it rather than having no job:))

Hi :) i just wanted to ask what is the salary range for new grad here in las vegas?? I applied in a sub acute/rehab facility and the offer was 25/hr? A friend told me who is also a new grad and no experience that in her facilty which is a rehab too that her salary is 30/hr.

HI guys I really need some help right now, im going to vegas tomorrow and i am planning to go to hospitals to give them my resume. i dont know if it is a good move or what. im all the way from california.. and i will just go to vegas to try my luck and apply to hospitals or skilled nursing facility. is this a good or idea? where should i start>? hi i recieved your msg. sorry i cant reply to it privately coz allnurses wont allow me. regarding your question i submitted my application for endorssemnt of my license last july. i just recently recieved their reply and they did not give me a license in ca. they are asking me to take additional clases for ms and ob. well that sucks really but there is nothing i can do it is their policy after all ( well goodluck on your application i hope you will get a better result

I have a vermont license and im currently staying in cali. i applied for my endorsement and they are really giving me a hard time. what really sucks is that after sending them the requirements they always say they havent recieved it yet. I dnt know what is the problem to think we are alrealdy licensed but in a different state though. How was your talk with the licensing analyst? hope everything was fine
