  1. Congrats Ksegg! I've not heard of anyone getting the good pop up and not passing. Including my friends who have gotten all 265 questions. So don't worry about the number of questions you got that doesn't seem to have any bearing on whether or not you pass or not. 75 or 265 the good pop up seems to be accurate :)
  2. I'm a believer! I tested with 2 friends and it worked for all of us within 10 minutes of walking out of the testing center. I have also heard that its been accurate for the majority of my classmates who have tested and used the trick. I know it's not a guarantee of passing or failing but it definitely helped us breathe a little easier after seeing that good pop up! Out state nursing board had our license numbers posted the following day.
  3. Yay for new nurses!! Congratulations everybody :) :)
  4. Oh my goodness. Even more congratulations in the job! I'm a little jealous. I just had my first interview and am waiting to hear back. I know what you mean. The waiting is the worst!
  5. Congratulations! I didn't wait until my scheduled time would have been up. I think I waited 10 minutes. 20 tops and that was cuz I had to reset my password. I was so nervous I forgot my login info :). Someone I know was able to get in due to an open spot at the testing center and she was done before her scheduled time even started and it worked. I know you won't fully relax until you see it on your state boards site but you can sure be pretty confident. Yay new nurse!!
  6. Good luck tomorrow! I'm a little jealous you could schedule your test so fast. The closest appointment I could get was almost a month from when I got my ATT. It sounds to me like you'll do fine :) I also scored well above the 900 my school required and had a pretty high GPA. I passed with 75 questions in about 2 hours (reading and rereading each question and all the options). The pop up was completely accurate and worked about 10 minutes after I tested (and every 20 minutes or so after that. Haha). Good luck again. Don't let nerves get the best of you. Can't wait to hear how it went!
  7. Oh my gosh I had a very similar interview today. I felt like I hadn't said enough for her to get a feel for who I am. I kept waiting for the interview part to start and the next thing I knew she was talking about contacting references. It's a weird feeling indeed. Did they say when you can expect to hear back? Wishing you luck :)
  8. In my program, our instructors always said to think of a SATA like a true/false question. If its asking what the best answer (teaching was effective, understands the procedure, etc) select each option that is true. If its asking what is incorrect (needs more teaching, requires intervention, etc) select the false option. That usually worked pretty well. Assuming I had a good grasp of the subject in the question anyway :).
  9. I would recommend contacting the school as well. Even though it's been a while since you graduated your school should still have a vested interest in seeing you succeed. If nothing else to help up their numbers in terms of graduates who pass NCLEX. For some people that's a deciding factor in choosing a program so they want their students to pass. The worst that could happen is they say there's nothing they can do but it couldn't hurt to call and ask.
  10. Sending good thoughts to all of you testing today! Best of luck and next time we hear from you, you'll be telling us your success story! Woohoo! :)
  11. Dubs2012 I have been quietly following your studying journey and getting much inspiration and encouragement from you! Just wanted to add my vote of confidence. It seems like you are totally ready for this! I take mine on Thursday (1/17) and hope that I'm as prepared and confident as you. Good luck. You've got this!!
  12. I know it's getting close now but I just wanted to say that I thought the Evolve case studies and patient reviews were pretty helpful too. The best advice I've seen though is to not change answers. Easier said than done I know but you're first instinct is usually right! Good luck. You've got this!
  13. I'm late to this party but I'm in! Scheduled to take NCLEX on the 17th. I've been trying to read a little of the Hurst review book and answer some Hogan questions every day. Time is flying and I need to stay motivated to study. Let's do this!!
