soon I'll be laplying fro VISA too. Could any share some tips regarding this process?

Hello allnurses members, Just want to ask if you ever had the same experience as mine. See I've worked for 2 hospital, "Hospital A", which I've worked for 6 months, wants to put a no mark yes mark on the "are you aware of any issues that would call into question the applicants character, conduct and fitness to practice?" part because I only stayed there for 6 months and they require atleast 2 years for them to tick the no box here. they said that this is the only way they would give their dry seal. my referee doesn't have a problem with me working for just 6 months It was the nursing department that's putting the seal on hold. Now, I emailed NMC, and they said that I could secure 2 referee from my Hospital B, which I've worked for 2 years. Now as I back track this forumn here some were saying that still NMC required them to submit a referee form from their other hospital. Thanks in advance

if you already have an american visa, its not really a bad idea. the best decision would be for you to study in the US. but since you parent's can not afford it, why not try it here. its not that bad.

do vrpmc only hire those who graduated from their school?

will they require you to have your tooth removed even if you're impacted tooth is not bothering you?

no i never tried sending my applications i just have friends who've undergone st lukes training. nset is it? if i were you just try it...

@ian how's pilipino IENS there in canada? :) I think its normal to miss anything or everything from your home country. who doesn't? hehehe

i heard they're quite strict in their rating requirement. but if i were you. you should still try....

so it is much better now right? base on what you know are there a lot of IENS that wrote the CNRE or CRNNS without completing a required course? and how long does those courses usually take?

were you able to write the crne without study course? "study course" is that the right or preferable term for the academic prerequisite when taking the CRNE?

thanks for your insight... are you a pinoy nurse in canada? i've read about the process... if it would be possible, i want to how many months/years do pinoy IEN usually(estimate will do) spend to be permited to write CRNE if ever they need to study or something... THANKS! :)

Hi Guys. just here to ask some opinions, insights or maybe some tips. I am a Reg. Nurse here in the Philippines. Probably by 2013 i would be a Staff nurse in one of the prestigious hospital here. and maybe after having at least 2 years experience, i would push my luck for my Canadian dream. now i have a lot of questions for those pinoy IENS here or maybe to anyone who's very knowledgeable. 1. which Canadian province/state would be best(generally) for a pinoy IENS? currently i would love to live in Toronto. 2 from what i've read and heard alot of IENS wasn't permitted to take CRNE without taking a bridging course. how long would it take for an IEN to finnish a bridging course if he/she would pursue LPN first? 3. I have a Godmother living in Surrey BC with her family for more than 5 or 6 years. would she be able to help me in anyway? like as a sponsor or anything?
