Feeling Guilty -- Need Advice
Everything we do and say is a reflection of who we are and what we have learned. Learn from this and don't complain about yourself or compare yourself to another. Unconditional love is unconditional love. Love yourself and show that to others. The actions of others will not always please us yet they are the result of who they are and what they have learned. You choose unconditional love or not. I am impressed that you have learned a lot about yourself and your patient's family. We are all forgiven if we choose to be.

New Grad Thrown to the Wolves!
SAFETY FIRST. Your patients are your primary concern and you are the one who makes a difference in their healing. Do your best for them and you. What are the laws in your state for temporary permits? You have to know and practice within the legal limits. Communicate with your manager and HR on any training needs you have. Do have a workplace policy and procedure book that you can read when necessary.

I have really messed up.
What did you learn? Consider taking an assertiveness course for nurses or ask your supervisor if the place where you work has such a course that you can take. Thank you very much for caring about your patient. God Bless You!
