Would you recommend EC to new students? If you had to do it all over again would you??

How did you do?

I graduated from EC in March, 2015. I took the boards on Friday May 22nd and had my results posted to the Florida Board of nursing by Wednesday. The next day at work I was given a promotion and bump in pay. There are several online colleges that you can enroll in afterwards for your BSN or you can go to EC. EC is accredited and accepted in all states except California.

Are you enrolled? If not requirements are always changing.

I'm in Florida and passed the NCLEX last month. 75 questions. I didn't study for the NCLEX; it wasn't that hard in my opinion.

I always get a kick out of questions like that; has anyone ever gone to this school. a simple search would answer all their questions.

You have a long way to go before you take the FCCA; worry about it when you are eligible.

You would be the 1st person to go to the school! Let us know how it goes!!

You should stick your finger in it and see what happens.

EC practice tests are gold. I always pay for them, $60 but worth it. You get 2 practice tests each 100 questions. You can only take each one once but your able to review and study them an unlimited amount of times.

I do list my education on all my applications; when they ask I tell them the truth; I haven't finished yet. I do know that lying on an application can be a reason for termination. What really amazes me it that after you fill out applications 99% of them go unanswered. i have gone on interviews and they tell me that I either have too much experience or not enough. Lots of office MD's want office experience. I have actually started looking looking into non-nursing positions. The reason I posted this is just to vent and get it off my chest. It really is embarrassing and demoralizing. I want to thank you everyone for the kind words and advice.
