  1. The workshop in Atlanta is the place to go, would not have done it without it even tho I had been an LPN for 18 years. worth every penny! I also set up a lab on my house and practiced every day. prob an hour a day for 6 wks. Bought the video which was very helpful. Good luck to you!!!!
  2. OMG who the hell can do 26 visits per day impossible!!!!!! What agency gives that many????
  3. I work for Bayada and you just make your schedule the way you want it to be. I take breaks for lunch!
  4. u need to take perceptor's advise and believe me the next will tell u different, roll with this small thing or u will find yourself going crazy
  5. Thank u for sharing your story. Caring is the most important thing we can do as nurses!
  6. I also start as a new nurse intern SICU at end of June, even though have been a LPN for 19 and recently a new RN grad, I feel the same way. have lots of good books but found website icufaqs to be helpful. What do the experienced ICU nurses think of that site? Good luck to everyone starting new!!!!!!!
  7. I so agree with your coment, kindness does matter!!!
  8. same thing happened to me, HR will call ya, if it a busy place it may take them a while to call. give it a week, good luck and congrats!
  9. There r a few out there that want to do bad things to fellow nurses because they r so insecure. If I were u I would talk to a lawyer about it. Had somewhat the same happen to me
