I took A&P2 and micro (along with 2 other classes) last semester. It's a lot to handle at once, but not as hard as the actual nursing program itself, in my opinion. It's a good trial run to get a very small idea of the time and commitment require...
In A&P our grade was only based on tests. There was no homework or other assignments. In my math classes, homework was done online, and started from Day 1. I don't think it counted for a big percent of our grade, but if you didn't do the homework...
Did anyone else apply for the BADNAP program starting in June 2013? The requirements were loosened up a couple of weeks before the deadline, so I'm wondering how much interest there was?
Koko, we have to respond by May 8, but that won't mean much to alternates, most likely. I'm in the same position as you are with badnap. I am wait list #10, so I applied for fall and was accepted. This is what the man in admissions told me: Every sin...
It isn't letting me add you that way. Try typing the address manually to facebook dot com slash groups slash 112227412314499 slash I hope that doesn't violate the terms of service since it is not a link. :-)
I got the same letter a month ago, but friends of mine that applied close to the deadline didn't get a confirmation letter. I wouldn't worry about not getting one.
Hi Megan, I've also applied for the fall semester at OCCC. I'm finishing up the last of my prerequisites right now. I would advise you to go for it, as far as taking micro is concerned. Nursing school requires way more studying and time away from hom...

I sure hope that "he" is telling people 5-6 weeks because he is getting a lot of inquiries. I can only imagine how many calls, visits and emails (from myself included) he must be getting! Last year it was just him tallying all the points and doing al...
I know I will have enough points to get in the fall, but if I was waitlisted and was offered the 1+1, I would do it in a heartbeat! (Assuming the costs are in line with OCCC.)
I looked into several schools in the OKC area. I carefully looked at the course requirements for each program, and how the point system worked for each school. I already had a lot of courses done, so I had to make sure I picked a program where I woul...
I do not plan on going for a CRNA or NP. I am 40-- by the time I got through all of that I'd either be in serious debt and/or approaching retirement age, haha! But seriously, I really want to be floor nurse. I spent so many years in management in a d...
Lordizzy, no need to apologize-- you didn't give me any negative feelings. :-) My 15 credits are not all science, thank goodness! I'm taking 9 of science and 6 of non-science that was not required for my bachelor's. I've been researching the programs...
