  1. I am taking my last two pre-reqs, A&P 2 and Chemistry. I am also taking Medical Terminology, although this is not a requirement.
  2. I am working towards my ADN right now, after this, I am going to continue to get a Masters in Nursing. Eventually, after some experience of course, I would like to be a nurse educator.
  3. I finished A&P 1 this Summer (with an A!). But I would advice you basically the same as the other postings, flash cards or notes, outline your chapters in a neat binder, try to stay as organized as possible so the information can always be clear, try to continue to attend the study groups, and take this stuff wherever you go!! Always keeping it fresh in your mind, so when test time comes again, you will know you know your stuff! Be blessed and keep up the good work!
  4. Well, I have been helping my family and friends for years naturally, because I wanted to. I never considered myself having a passion for nursing but I like helping people. I disagree with that post saying a passion for nursing is for people who haven't been in the real world. That is not right, I know several nurses who do not feel that way.
  5. Yes, you should re-take it. Like the previous post said, depending on the school, most schools prefer a higher grade to get in the nursing program.
  6. I agree with the other posts, you can still fulfill your dreams at another school. You also need to work on your English, so concentrate on that. Best Wishes to You!
  7. Hi, Well maybe you need to pray about it? If you don't have peace, then it may not be the time or just not for you. No one can tell you what is your path, but you. So I would say find peace. I don't particulary like bodily fluids myself, but that is not my main focus. I don't look at the negative first, its always the positive first. I have a sister who is completely immobile who cant walk or talk and she is 30 years old. I've had to deal with her diapers and so forth for years, but like the previous post said, you learn to tolerate it. So find peace. That will guide you.
  8. Don't EVER let anyone tell you that you can't do it!!!!!!!!! I was a horrible high school student and change the whole thing around now in college. If you truly want to be a RN, you can be a RN!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T YOU GIVE UP!!!!!!
  9. Yayy!!! Congratulations!!!!! Hard work pays off!!!
  10. Congrats!!!!! All the hard work paid off!!!
  11. Hi, I'm 41 yrs. old and will be done with my pre-req's this fall. This is my 2nd career also, I worked in the airline industry for the most part of my adult life. I wanted to make a difference in someone's life on another level so, I decided on nursing. I really am enjoying this journey and excited to be a part of this community.
  12. I am going to pay off some bills, and buy a house!
