  16. I got an email/ acceptance today!!!
  17. i was told too that you have to take all classed in order to apply to ADN program. That it goes by points system as before and the max is 21 points.
  18. I am in the same position as you TEXXAS. I applied last December and did not get accepted and now I have the additional 7 classes to take as well. I was pretty bummed behind it because now i have to take summer l and ll as well as the Fall and have all classes done by December in order to get credit for it. The good thing is that I was going for my BSN anyway and I looked up the partnered schools with TVCC and after you take all those core classes, you can get into the meat of the BSN program in no time. Texas Tech seems to be the best option in my opinion. I feel you on be advised about taking the honors classes and now you don't get a point for them. They should revist that and maybe compensate the students in some way or something. I am in a bad position because I am considered out of district, although I live in Kaufman Co and have lived here for the past seven years, I still have to pay the outrageous out of district fees! If you are going to go to another school, you have to think about that too, are you in district? I don't know how many hours you have taken at Trinity but I know you do get a point if you have taken so many hours at tvcc. I would find out if that is the same for el centro, for example. It doesn't seem right or fair because we are the ones that pay for these classes and this is something that we possibly could have been warned about. I heard nothing of this last year in Decemember. Now I do however see the good and the bad in this. Good luck to you in whichever road you decide to take!
