  1. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of peds population. Even I become a. FNP, I will never apply for jobs that require me to see the kids. If you’re a parent, you want your kids to be seen by a FNP or a pediatrician? I’m going to do primary care.
  2. Absolutely, pace, Hunter, downstate all you need is 42 credits to graduate. The schools I’m interested are only those in NYC area where you can easily access by public transportation. Sorry, I shouldn’t have said all others.
  3. I have already committed to another school. One thing I need to point out is that the FNP program at NYU requires 12 more credits than other schools in NYC to complete the degree.
  4. Thanks for letting me know. Guess I’m not accepted.
  5. Guess I’m not accepted
  6. Did you hear from them yet?
  7. Hope so. I’m going to call the admission counselor tomorrow. Did you friend who applied for the FNP got the same updated page on her application?
  8. How did she know she got accepted? Im confused
  9. I didn’t get anything.
  10. Please keep me posted if she hears back. ? Please keep me posted if she hears back. ?
  11. Congrats! Do you know anyone who applied to their FNP program? I wonder if they release the decision for all programs at the same time…
  12. I applied for the FNP program nothing is changed on “My info” page. It’s still just my residential address. Congrats on your acceptance!
  13. Hi mrn123, congradulation for the interview. Do you mind me asking how you applied in this hospital? I have applied multiple times online without hearing anything back. I also noticed that they have many openings throughout the year. I am wondering if there is any other way to apply. Thank you so much.
  14. I also thought about this problem when I was considering a per diem job just for relocating back to NYC. However I decided it's not worth it based on the fact that the hours of per diem is not guaranteed while there is no benefit at all as well as I have to pay the union. For the part time position. I was told that I still need to pay $344 biweekly for health insurance and union dues $73 monthly. This is not acceptable at all with all these payments deducted on my paycheck. I will have not much left to pay for my student loans and rent. If you don't mind paying $700 a month for health insurance, you may consider a part time position.
