while you did the right thing and notified your CM for taking a prescription that you did not have... out of curiosity, you know tramadol does not show up under any drug test, or was this more of a clear of conscious reason to inform your CM?

That is awesome!! Congratulations!!! I'm curious if you don't mind saying. Did you get convicted of a DWI or did all this happen with a DWI guilty plea and court supervision but not officially of a conviction? (I'm from a different state and unfortunately picked up a DWI but under court supervision right now and afraid of the BON possible actions )

At my hospital, I notice alot of males want either ICU or ED. Those areas seem to have the most males in any given hospital. That being said, I started on a surgical floor and now I am a male pediatric rn! My hospital told me I am the first male ever to work on pediatrics lol.

How would this concern be any different then if you were a straight male doing care on a female..?

Are you only applying to specific units? you may have to take a LTC or nursing home to get experience! How far are you applying from your home? only jobs 10-20 minutes away or are you willing to drive an hour to get a job? Also, do you have a BSN or ADN

Definitely choose number one based on the pros / cons you listed. Like the other person posted, you can always leave and apply else where if it doesn't work out.

In my opinion, I don't think it's your age, I think it is your resume that you need to have redone. If you really put out over 200-300 applications and only heard back from 3, then it's your resume. You should at least be getting call backs or should be considered for another interview (even if you don't get the job.)
