  3. Hi All, I am newly graduated RN working on a medical floor. I am really enjoying my job but I have issues with time management. I realised that I had issues with my time management coming from a student to an RN. Apparently I am being discussed as lacking good time management. I always leave work on time. Never have to stay back to finish work. I never come in early to get a head start. I always finish all tasks set for the shift. I am struggling to understand where I am going wrong. I thought if I finished all set work on time without going overtime then I must be doing ok. I would love any suggestions and input as to where I can improve. I always start the shift with a timeline of jobs and tick them off as I complete them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou in advance
  4. Is Premarin really pregnant horse pee ?????? OMG sounds so gross...........lol
  5. OMG I can't believe that you have to wait until you have saved up the money to have this procedure done. Makes me feel very fortunate that we have one of the best health care systems in the world. Everyone here gets the medical treatment they require whether they be rich or poor in a private health fund or not. Granted we do have a waiting system here and depending on the type of procedure required depends on the time you would have to wait. We have private hospitals and if you have private medical insurance then of course you can have any procedure done sooner but in the public health system you will have your problem fixed in time and not cost you a cent. Do you not get sick leave pay in your job? Unless you are a casual worker here we are entitled to X amount of weeks payed sick leave. I wish you all the luck and hope you can have done what is needed at minimal cost to you and your childrens welfare. Chin up :)

  7. thanks for your reply's. hubby is still in alot of pain. swelling is going down slowly. he has had a very bad experience and i feel kind of guilty for asking him to do it. what was supposed to be simple routine procedure has turned into something quite dramatic. he can only get better from here. i forgot to tell you he was bruised (very dark purple) from his belly button down his scrotum all in his groin right out to his hips. that thankfully has started to heal very quick. thanks again for your your imput. robyn
  8. hi i have a question and unsure where to post it. as there is are so many of you with so much experience on here i was hoping you could help with my question. my husband had a vasectomy over 9 days ago and alomost straight away starting swelling. his scrotum swelled to almost the size of a football. he was in alot of pain and ended up spending three days in hospital then sent home. still swollen and in tremdous pain. 7 days after the procedure he had a scrotal scan and that showed a huge haematoma. he was put straight into theatre and drained and had a drainage put in. my question is does this happen often or is this a rare occurance. i would appreciate any input you guy's could give me. thanks in advance robyn
