Has anyone had the same feelings when they started out with agency for the first time?

caths.question
:yeah:no disrespect but i busted out laughing...that blows my mind because.. ....sorry:lol2:...it reminded me of a situation at work where a fairly new nurse looked at me while i was inserting the cath....as if i was killing the man.(you know how you have to insert almost all of it)but don`t worry i used to question nurses too when i was new....and thats how i learned....:nuke:

Does size matter.
:yeah:that was sooo funny but true:)

What can you say????
I would councel the nurse and ask her why..write down what she/he is saying about it..then maybe highlight the names on the MARS..ask all the nurses for input..in regards to improve future medication passes..showing a plan of correction with proven results.Question..were the names similar? Hope this helps a little:nurse:

The long term effects of being fired
Iam so sorry that this happen to you..i know fully what you are describing..sort of..I you dont play...we make you pay..as long as you are quiet and do your job play the BLIND person than your IN..your...cool.But oh my God watch out if you are actually trying to advocate for your patients and step out of line than you become the target..for doing the right thing. Red..thank you for stepping up to the plate..we NEED more nurses like YOU. The patients are usually quiet...but they notice nurses like you and are thankful for trying to help.I wish you well:).

The long term effects of being fired
YES..I HAD A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE AND I DID NOT GET FIRED BUT LEFT AND THIS WILL TAKE A WHILE TO GET OVER IT.YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE PAIN..I THINK IT IS A MATTER OF NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT HAPPEN AND WHY.. FOR ME I WAS ATTEMPTING TO DO THE RIGHT THING..WITH LITTLE SUPPORT.. AT TIMES IT IS HARD BEING A NURSE..BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT CNA`S ARE THE BACKBONE OF EVERY FACILITY..IT CAN GET DIFFICULT DOING YOUR JOB,AND PLEASE IAM NOT KNOCKING CNA`S..I WAS ONE MYSELF FOR MANY MANY YEARS.
