i seen a post of acceptance with a 65 score that was a positive

Well not a good sign...nobody is saying they got a denial letter so i am assuming acceptance went out first. Talked to friends that got accepted but that is it.

What was your profile score? I applied but lost alot of points due to a/p 2 final grade was a C.

has anyone started the lpn program at delgado and if so how do you like it??? applied for the RN but if I dont get accepted I will go the LPN route.

i would apply it doesnt hurt plus even if you apply you have to wait 2 semesters before start of nursing. So many people wait until they finish everything and then you sit around with no classes to take. I applied in Dec 2011, we will be notified in April for a start date of Aug 2012. That means 2 semesters of waiting.

No you dont need a/p 2, hum, fine arts, or 120 to apply..you would have more points but you can take them while you wait.You will have 2 semesters to wait from application to start date so plenty of time to finish before nursing classes start. Ipplied for the dec16th deadline but will be notified in april if accepted into the fall classes. It is definitly a waiting game at delgado

I am in the same situation. I am 39, 3 kids i am currentley at Delgado but I am stressing about the profile score. I applied for the fall 2012 class but wont find out until April. With Delgado it is a waiting game. I am second guessing it and thinking about Delta. What is the fee for LPN I heard its around 22000.00. I dont know how I would pay for that.

from what i understand they start at 70 and higher then work their way down until all spots are filled so it just depends on how many applicants apply and how many spots they will fill. If they need 200 spots filled and only 150 had scores of 70 or higher they go to 65 then to 60 so on until they reach 200.

You bid just like you would your other classes. The site will open at 8 am and everyone in the program chooses what hospital they want on a first come first serve basis. I believe you have 8 hospitals to choose from.

I have applied for the fall 2012 class. I did poor on my A/P 2 and ended the semester with a C. I am afraid I hurt my chances now, that C brought my GPA down so I went from a profile score of 70 to a 55. I really don't think that will be good enough to get in and I am so disappointed in myself.
