Can an LVN take this exam since I already work at at substance abuse clinic?

The first time I took the old test and didn't pass but I just took the nclex last month and pass.

Ur friend is right? Cuz I failed my 1st try and a friend made me a copy and while doing the questions on the cd,I saw similar question frm nclex. Know your content and frm there even if u dnt do questions you'll be fine. And know ur lab values and basic meds such has beta blockers, broncho dilators , etc.

I used hogan PN and it was very very helpful. Use the cd. I guarantee. Also I use Saunders.

It's okay if you fail the first time. I say don't spend ur money on those review course. Just start studying by learning the basic like your content. Then start doin questions by system and dontmove on until you master each system. Also, read the FACT THROWING here in all nurses. Cause it helps a lot. And don't rush your self!, if you have schedule your test and you feel unready, reschedulenit for another two weeks until you feel ready.that's what I did. I didn't pass on my first try and on my second try I made sure to study the ones I wasn't sure of. But for sure know your lab values and ur basic meds such as cardiac meds and resp. Meds. Good luck!!

PVT trick works 100%. Took the test sept 13 got home did the trick and got the good pop up and today I got my official result. Heading to sac town tomorrow for my temp. License. :) good luck to everyone!!!!

My suggestion for you is know ur basic&info from Saunders and do each chapter a day until u know ur stuff. Then after that do at least 205 quest a day. And what help me is the fact throwing section here. If u have to keep re scheduling ur test becuz ur don't feel ready, do it. That's what I did. Good luck! II
