Thank you to everyone for your advice except for that one individual but anyway the students may or may not be able to take the exam in their language but if they can perfect.......BUT what will happen when they obtain employment. I have asked to set a meeting with the director to see what can be done. Once again thx for the advice and I'll keep everyone posted

CNA instructor
How dare you reply in such a negative manner. If you can't say anything nice do not say anything at all. I am already upset with myself for even replying to your ignorant comment. Smh I never knew this website was based on negativity than positive.

CNA instructor
I am teaching a new CNA class. This program is new at the school where it is taking place. The issue that I'm having is that the class contains a fair amount of students that do not speak English very well ( that's me being nice ) the students need an explanation for every other word which I don't mind doing BUT it takes away from teaching what I need to teach to the students to become a nursing assistant. The location where the school is located primarily has a certain ethnicity, which I prefer not to say. I am thinking of telling the director of the school to have the students take an ESL course before taking any other courses. I personally feel as If the students are not understanding anything. Any advice besides the what I have in mind to do would be greatly appreciated. Thx

LPN Course Help
You will always hear negative comments on anything. I guess some people go for their lpn instead of their rn because it's quicker. There are jobs out there it maybe harder for one than another but lpn positions are available.

Take a deep breath and relax ( I know it sounds easier said than done ) but you have to. Give yourself a break, about 2 weeks or so. As far as a live review course look up ready to pass, they have an amazing nclex review course in ny and nj. Gd luck

Young nurses
yes you are right nurses have all over have to prove themselves but what I was implying younger nurses not even over 25 yrs old bareky have respect in the nursing field. I would think at such a young age taking such a serious career one would think hey they must have a gd head on their shoulders. I assumed that allnurses.com was a place that nurses could come and discuss all sorts but guess I gave too much credit

Young nurses
I would love to know what you mean by that. there are posts still being commented on from early 2000's. so whats your point ? :)

Does anyone knows of Agencys hiring LPNs in nyc?
You are right but Agencies are the only ones willing to give lpns a chance. Anything else is by "luck"
