   I am working on getting back to school next semester. I want to go for physical therapist because I do like helping people, but nursing is just a lot of politics to me, I hope this path is better and a little less stressful.

   I have gained a lot of weight, like 60 pounds in a year currently depressed because of the weight gain and a lot of my co-workers are on prozac or ativan. :zzzzz

    I agree with mifligirl, I work a 16 and 2-8 hour shifts, that was the only way i was able to handle my floor. All the nurses on my floor stated they couldn't handle even 4 days with 8 hours to work.

    I feel the same, in my area we only can look to LTC for employment and it can get really hard to get a job in a facility if you don't have a good reference. I'm currently working towards my RN but I think it is getting really hard to keep employment....
