Need encouragement for NCLEX.
Keep your eye on the prize. I am in the same situation you are, have taken the nclex 3 times and failed. I take the nclex again on the 20th. I have changed the way i study and will never feel confidant enough about the test. I have also got a job as a patient care tech for the experience, i start that on the 24th. Even if i fail i still have the PCT job to fall back on and learn on the job. I may not be an RN yet, but Im not going to give up, and neither should you! Did you do an accelerated nursing course or a regular? I did accelerated and believe that is why i can't pass, i have taught myself so much! DONT GIVE UP!!

NCLEX question from my exam
B. Key words "unrelieved by Nitro." Answer A is just saying they have hoorificeness and singed hairs, nothing else.

Anyone fail NCLEX and didn't get the good pop up?
I unfortunately have failed 3 times, and each time I have gotten the "bad popup." It works 100% of the time. You just need to wait an hour or 2 and make sure your results say "delivery successful" before trying the PVT.

Failed the NCLEX!
I'm sorry to hear this. First of all, let me just say, by seeing your screen name I can't give you encouragement with GOD, because I don't believe in GOD. Secondly, I can give you encouragement in another way. I went to an accelerated nursing program with no experience, and I failed 3/4 of the way through. I had the option to reapply and go right back but I didn't. I took 6 months off. I then reapplied and went back into the program. The last class I barely passed (O.B., I'm a guy so don't care for that class). Anyway, I passed and others failed, my teachers and classmates thought I was gonna fail. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL, I HAVE HARDLY EVER FAILED ANYTHING! Anyway, I failed the NCLEX the first time, got more serious the second time, and failed again. Barely failed the second time, I was devistated and saw no hope, cried, you name how you feel I felt. Going again next week for my third time. I have learned that you can't give up, take the punches, feel your sorrow, and pain, and regroup. I'm not giving up because I like nursing. It sucks, but get support, express your emotions, study hard, and pray if that is your thing. DONT GIVE UP, I know I haven't. Side Note: Both my parents are deceased, I'm 27, I worked hard working and going to school. If I can continue on with my journey, SO CAN YOU! I may not believe in GOD, but I believe in hard work, dedication, will to succeed, and the hope to carry on. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Keep fighting the good fight! I hope this has helped you in some way, you are not alone. Best of luck to you!

Good to know yourself! lol Maybe try a day or two a week then, but don't burn yourself out. Is this your first time taking the NCLEX?

The biggest think I had found to help is to let your brain rest. Take a little time off you don't want to drive yourself crazy. If it's in the middle of July, take a week off, then get back at it. As my uncle says, "Worrying is like paying on a debt you may never owe!" Good Luck!!

June 9th NCLEX RN- words of encouragement, pretty please
First of all, good luck! Stay positive and know that you know the material. Dont let stress get the best of you if it arises. I feel that is the number one thing that causes people to fail the NCLEX. If it happens, take some deep breaths and relax!!!!! Next, eat some breakfast/lunch, and so on. BIG THING.... Take your time and DONT RUSH!!!! Dont worry about how fast to finish. Another reason I think people fail! So, stay calm, be positive, eat some food, dont rush, and dont worry! Good Luck!

I bought it and i thought the program was nothing like the nclex. It didnt really help me out any. Unless it is free, i wouldnt recommend it.

Kaplan Review
My school paid for the Kaplan review and I would never recommend it to anyone. We had an instructor from Kaplan teach us. Kaplan pretty much just teaches you how to guess at the answers. I found that you don't gain too much knowledge from it, and the rationals aren't that great. The instructor would tell us the rational behind the guessing but it didn't work all the time. That was my experience with it and my classmates felt the same way! :-(
