Congrats on your acceptance!! How difficult was the meeting/interview with the dean? Mine is this week and I'm nervous!

What about Ramussen College? They are in several states as well as Tampa, FL. What is the reputation among hospitals? Are the only RN's getting jobs graduates of USF in this area?

Passed the teas there too last Thursday...have to meet with the dean also and then start Jan. 3rd...which happens to be my birthday:)

Starting the RN program at Rasmussen in January Tampa campus...taking the TEAS on Thursday...did well on the STEP. Anyone have any experience with their program? I'm wondering where the clinicals are. Thanks!!

I'll also be meeting with a rep. at South University next week. I'll post how it goes here. They offer a BSN and since I have a BA already it may take me the same amount of time to get a BSN as an ADN so I may as well look into it.

I'm seriously considering nursing school for RN in Tampa Bay area...can someone please advise as to the current employment conditions for new grads here? I am really concerned that I will go through all of this effort and expense and then not be able to get a job? Relocating is not an option for my family. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I have a quick and easy one too....half a cup of egg beaters ( in the carton) microwaved in a bowl for 3 minutes on a toasted high fiber english muffin spread with alittle olive oil buttery spread...wrap in a napkin and eat on the run:) Some times I add a cheese stick to the bowl in the micro and some chopped onions and green peppers...if time allows:)

Sounds like blood sugar to me and sometimes it's not that it gets very low but rather how fast it falls that will make you feel faint....high protein/complex carb breakfast and then 15 or so almonds about 3 hours later is my routine and it really works. Otherwise, I'm on the floor too!

I just started to study from the ATI guide and I take the TEAS in 2 weeks.
