  1. I felt the same even after i got the good pop up because i dont want to believe it even all my classmares are saying that i need to trust the good pop up. Congratulations to you in advance. And PVT trick is for both NCLEX RN AND PN.
  2. It's now official! Took the NCLEX PN June 14 here in CA. I got the result yesterday, June 20. Still can't believe that I passed. It was freaking hard. And I graduated back in 2009. God is so good. Good luck to everyone!
  3. My kaplan qbank scores was lower than yours but I didn't miss reading every single rationales. And yes it's a little harder than the actual NCLEX but its similar in some ways. Know your material that's the best advice I could give. Know your lab values, pharm, infection control and prioritization. Good luck!
  4. I'd say the new test has more Select all that apply. Because last year when I first took the test I only had a like 2. Lots of prioritization and infection control. Know your Lab values. I used Exam Cram and Hurst Review online. I was gonna buy the Saunders 4th edition because I've heard so many good feedback about but have no $ to spend for more materials. For practice questions I did 205 every morning n exam cram and another 85-100 in the afternoon. Read all the rationales even if you get it right. I know other people say, dont exceed 4 hours of study a day. I studied 6-8 hours a day for a month. Know your material that's the key! Good luck guys! :)
  5. I used Hurst Review Online. And for practice questions I used Kaplan Qbank, Exam Cram and La Chartiy. Do 205 everyday or more. And patiently read all the rationales even when you get the question right.
  6. I retake the nclex pn on tuesday and got the good pop up. I used Hurst review online and Kaplan Qbank (didn't even open the book it came with). I should mention that I graduate back in 2009. First time i failed it I know I didn't study good enough. The second time, I studied for a month every day. I listened to hurst topics over and over and over. And youtube if i want to understand the disease more like heart diseases. I do 205 practice questions every morning using Exam Cram and another 100 questions of Kaplan in the afternoon. Patiently read all the rationales. The reason i do 205 straight every 8am is because that's my appointment to take the test and thinking Ima take the whole 205 just so if it dnt shut off at 85 I wouldn't be having panic attack. But it did shut off at 85. My advice , just keep on reviewing the material and do tons of practice questions. Hurst, La Charity, and for practice questions used Kaplan and Exam Cram. Don't give up. And don't be to hard n your self. The moment you give up that's when you fail. Good Luck!! God bless :)
  7. I took mine today. 85 questions at least like 15 SATA. So crazy!! but got the good pop up :)
  8. I also did the hurst review online. For practice question I used Kaplan, Exam Cram and La Charity. I studied for 3 weeks. Sure i'll let you know! I cant wait!!
  9. Hey I took mine 5 hours ago. I'm from California and I got the good pop up.
  10. Took my NCLEX PN test this morning, 8AM for the second time. Went there today telling myself over and over "I'm going to take 205 questions and not change any answer." Took a break after an hour and 20 mins (61 questions) because I'm starting to feel the hit. I was at #84 then 85 i was so nervous to click next button then the screen just went blue. Shut off at 85. I felt so terrible that it shut off that early because I know I'm not doing good. Went home and feeling so down. 1pm ~just now, i tried the PVT trick and i got the good pop up. I hope that its true!! :) Study Material: Hurst Review Online - love her!! I listen to her night and day even when my brother is getting annoyed already. I can still hear her voice while answering the nclex test Kaplan Qbank ( I think i payed somewhere around 150?) I 100 a day. My score was terrible tho not happy to share. Exam Cram PN - i did 205 every morning for 3 weeks. La Charity Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment - a must have book! With all the practice questions I read every single rationales even tho I got it right. Its honestly tiring sometimes but you gotta read it. Good luck to everyone!!! :)
