  1. Thanks for your advice. I have taken the hurst review and the kaplan review and still no luck.
  2. Hi everyone, I have failed the nclex-rn numerous times and my next step is just to take the nclex-pn so I can start woking and get my foot in the nursing door. I know everyone says that I should just keep studying for the RN because that's what I went to school for and what not but this would be my other option. And I'm not going to give up on getting my RN. So I am looking for any advice on what I would have to do. I'm taking my boards in CA. And any study advice would be very much appreciated as well. Thanks!
  3. hi jbjints. i would recommend using index cards over paper any day. i use them for almost every test and i think it is a great way to study. it especially helps when you need to memorize a lot of information. i would make index cards for everything and even put specific points for essay questions so that i can remember what i need to talk about if i have to write an essay. also, rewriting the information from class notes to index cards also helps you remember the information. index cards are a fast and easy way to memorize information. it helps you focus in on key facts and you won't have to read through the whole book to find what you are looking for. what i do is take 10 cards at a time and memorize those first and then continue memorizing the next set of cards. i find it very effective and i hope that you will too. =)
