I do have experience and I met the manager on the unit. But you never know. I learned to take things a day at a time and keep applying.

Hey I need help, I applied for a position with pilgrim psychiatric center, I mailed resume and OMH application for employment. Now in the chance I do get hired will it be through state or an agency. Also I did not complete nurse 2 civil service application. What is really the purpose if filling out that application and taking the test? Will I be hired through the state if I take it? Sorry I'm just confused as to what civil exam is, if it's needed for state employment.

Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?

I interviewed with them I had a similar issue, took a while for recruiter to call back I think it took 2 weeks to hear back I went on two different interviews and still didn't get job. All well

Wow that is cool to hear! I have 8 months experience, July will make 9 months and I just updated my résumé and started applying for jobs downstate. You're giving me so much hope now that I can move back with my family. And you got a job in the city! Very nice and thanks for replying

Hi I was wondering if anyone got a job downstate after they had to relocate either upstate or to another state with at least 6 months to a year of experience? Are you getting calls back from hospitals or are you having just as hard a time when you were applying downstate in the beginning?

Oh yeah they hire ADN, and pay for you to get BSN.

Wow just hired at Brooklyn va?!? Where did you apply? Because usajobs.gov doesn't have any openings in downstate region I see Albany and Syracuse.

No not to me it is. I was called for an interview but declined it for other reasons. I went to usajobs website and for Albany they even extended the app due date. So they did call, would have I been hired, well yeah who knows. But it seems they are looking for people in the upstate ny region, forget downstate though.

How long Willie take to receive a call for a interview?

Great , it says answers will be compared to the forms I submit and any errors may affect eligibility. Just great there goes my chances. I already submitted another questionaire. Because I do remember it saying it takes 2-3 days for them to process faxed documents. Or maybe the IBED rating is the final step. Help!
