  1. Who’s your recruiter? I’m in Texas as well but in Houston
  2. Here you go guys FY2020 numbers for the USN AD
  3. Good luck everyone
  4. Same here, but I really want to be a flight nurse in the Air Force and I remember mentioning that in my interview for AD
  5. @MasalaC I guess I'll find out soon but I really don't want to go AD anymore because of some commitment with my kids
  6. I need to get with you to learn about your experiences, first I have to stop my active duty process and pick up where I left off with my flight nurse application
  7. That was what my recruiter told me. There are no FNP slots in the Reserves as of now, and I don't want to go active anymore due to my kids' commitments, and I honestly do not mind Flight nursing at all, I think it will be fun
  8. I think with 9years of experience, you should be coming in as O3. From what I've learned so far, a year of civilian experience is equivalent to 0.5 year of military experience. So, your 9 years of experience should be equivalent to 4.5 years of military experience that can be counted towards your rank.
  9. Hi, I was wondering how your degree ended up improving your rank. I'm currently in the same situation, my previous recruiter told me to wait until I completed my Masters, also FNP before completing my scroll but then he retired and my new recruiter had no idea what I was talking about. I have 5 and a half years of RN experience and recently became FNP. Please advise
  10. Are you guys all applying to the Reserves or Active Duty. I applied active duty but now having second thoughts, would prefer to be in the reserves
  11. I am but I'm also exploring the Air Force
  12. hey djmatte, are you also applying to the Air Force? I decided to apply to both
  13. Is that Active duty or Reserves?
  14. That means I’m loosing a lot of money as a nurse practitioner commissioning as a med surge nurse, I’m only certified as a FNP not medsurg nurse, yikes!
  15. Has anyone gotten the retention bonus with the accession bonus for medsurg or is it one or the other, or one after the other?
