Strong Personalities on my unit and a rude CNA
Your unit sounds like a mess If everyone sucks that bad, chances are the nurse manager probably already knows. I personally would begin searching for a new job. Too much going on, nursing is already stressful as is.

Wait lists
I got my ADN from a CC in Northern California and graduated a year ago. I waited 3 years when my school still accepted spring and fall admission. The waiting list is now 6 years long due to budget cuts eliminating spring admission. Not worth it, in my opinion. Try out of state!

BSN requirement for new grads in acute care
Anyone know of any schools besides Frontier Nursing University that offers this route?

2013 Nashville Area New Grad Pay
Feels like I'm missing something here... male nurses get paid more?

Best states for new grads?ca, or, wa, nm, az..?
Sorry but, CA is brutal. Some hospitals receive 600+ applications for a position.

Post NCLEX Blues
I took the NCLEX last week and this was so me. My life was like a blur between the time of taking the test and finding out I passed. I kept getting the good PVT pop-up but like you, I was skeptical. I got 265 questions!!! Worst 6 hours of my life. Believe in PVT! :)

Passed NCLEX-RN with 265 Questions?
I passed with 265 questions. I repeatedly did the PV trick and kept getting the good pop-up but I was in disbelief. It was a grueling 6 hours, I took no breaks because I couldn't afford to, so I was really tired come along question 200. Once I hit question 221, I just knew I was in it for the long haul. Then I started getting sign/symptom questions towards the end (below passing) so I thought for sure there's no way I could have passed. But I did. Don't lose hope everyone, and whatever you do- do not give up! It doesn't matter what number you are on, just give it your all! If you're still getting questions, that means you're still in it to win it! Pinksteth, RN :)
