I'm not sure, but I think 3.7-3.8 for the weekend and UH cohorts, and maybe a little lower for the traditional accelerated during the week. Maybe that's because the traditional takes a lot students. Our class was 16 students, I think there was over 150 applicants.

4.0, and my previous bachelor degree was in maternal child health.

The program is very competitive to get in! Do the best you can to do well in your prereqs and keep your GPA high.

I worked part time the entire program. The dates of clinicals you may have a little in advance, but the location sometimes we didn't find out until the day before the semester started. With the more specialty classes like OB and psych we knew longer in advance.

I graduated from the UH ABSN cohort with Kent last year. When I started I was working and had 2, 4, and 6 year old little boys. It was a challange but honestly it wasn't too bad. I also got a 4.0, so it is definitely doable.

Hello! I just graduated with my BSN am looking to go for my MSN is education. WGU is appealing for many reasons. I am wanting to know though from the employer's perspective, how is WGU regarded? Would it be a hindrance to being hired to have a degree from WGU? I don't know anyone who has attended WGU, and when I asked my faculty their opinion, including our asst. dean, they hadn't even heard of it but seemed leery based on the description of the program and how it is set up. I'd hate to be passed over for a job just based on where I got my degree. I hope I am making sense! Any input is appreciated!

I dont know about Tri-C, but I am in the accelerated BSN program at Kent. I dont qualify for financial aid either, but I do get federal loans by filling out the FAFSA. I figure in one year the degree will pay for itself. I think the application deadline is coming up for Kent's accelerated Nights and Weekends Cohort, maybe check it out?

Can the pants be any style? Cargo, fit, etc?

JavaRX- did you buy the uniforms through Life Uniforms? Or is there a cheaper place? At orientation Life Uniforms will be there, and I was wondering if I should get fitted, take the brand/style numbers and buy elsewhere. $140 for a uniform seems steep.

Yup! July 7th! The price is definitely intimidating. I applied for all the KSU nursing scholarships I could for this academic year (application period closed for those May 1st, which I think is stupid because we dont even know if we are accepted at that point) so Im really hoping I get some of those, I also applied for general KSU scholarships too, and have loans that I got through FAFSA. The hospital I work at also provides 2-3k for getting your BSN so I'll apply for that next spring. Our acceptance was too late to apply this year.
