  1. Does Swanee have a county hospital or a hospital that has good benefits? Im planning to move to Suwanee soon and have never been there and need info. Thanks so much.
  2. Is there a County Hospital in north Georgia? Im interested in this because a county hospital usually has good benefits. Im moving to north Georgia and would like to find a hospital that has good benefits. thanks.
  3. I also have a California RN license and am planning on moving to Georgia in about a year. I know I will probably take a beating when it comes to wages but Im going anyway. So, if it takes that long to endorse to Georgia should I send in my application while still in California? Maybe 3 months before I move? Thanks to anyone who can answer this.
  4. I have been looking for someone in my area to study with. Hope we can exchange some good study info. How can I contact you? PJ
  5. THE CRITICAL ELEMENTS ARE IN UNIT IV of your big ol study guide. They are listed under each section of your areas of care that you are being tested on. You have to know them by heart and know how to do them. I bought the flashcards from EC so I could take them to work with me. The study guide is very overwhelming at first. Read the whole thing cover to cover. This gives you an understanding of what the CPNE is all about. Then I actually pulled out the unit IV and put it into a different 3 ring binder for easier studying. Sounds like you have just started to study. I will be happy to help if I can. I have gotten a lot of good info off of websites. PJ
  6. I have not taken any workshops yet but plan to go to chancellors. I have a friend at work who went to Dr. Fryes, Excelsiors, and Chancellors. She said Chancellors was the best because it is one to one. There are only 6 people at each workshop and the workshop is 5 days. It is comparable in price to Excelsiors that is 3 days. I think it is only $100 more. I plan to go to that one. I heard that the lab setup is exactly like the actual cpne..Worth checking out. Chancellors claims 92% pass the first time with their workshop. PJ
  7. Thanks for the info. I called and changed my test site to Long Beach. I should be testing in January. 5 months away but I need lots of study time, because I feel like if I don't know this stuff like the back of my hand I'am setting myself up for failure. PJ
  8. Can anyone give me some info on which is a better site, Long Beach or San Diego. I can't seem to get much info for Calif. I went to a workshop this last weekend and people were saying that Long Beach is better than San Diego. Does anybody know about this. I have signed up for the CPNE at San Diego but Long Beach is closer for me. Thinking about changing sites if that is allowed. Any info appreciated.
  9. Hi I got your reply and can use all the help I can get. My email is [email protected]. It must feel great to be finished with that horrible cpne. I study everyday and worry a lot cause I know a few people who have failed. I want to prepare well. Hope to here from you soon. Thanks PJ in Ca.
