  1. Yes, they help you get all set up with preceptors in your geographical area.
  2. Hey!! Has anyone attempted this program yet? I’ve been accepted for Fall 2020 and was looking for some feedback ?
  3. I'm taking it for the first time March 13. I feel so unprepared because I don't really know what to study I hope you do well!!
  4. Hi! I'm applying for admission for Fall 2017. Anyone else?
  5. Thank you!!! I will look for an ATI book! Are you still in school?
  6. Ahh that's gonna be my undoing as well!
  7. Thank you!! Do you know what they consider an acceptable score? I hope you get in this time around! It seems like they have changed how they do things now.
  8. Hi Everyone! I am attempting to get into Davidson CCC for fall 17 program. I have submitted all the previous work history, my transcripts, took the last placement test required. I'm just waiting to take my NACE exam. I am super nervous. This program would be amazing for me since I have 2 little ones that I wouldn't have to leave often since it is a hybrid program. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thank you!!
  9. Thank you so much!!
  10. As far as Ive heard Duke has terrible pay rates. I know a few people that I met in orientation that work at UNC and Wake Med. Im in the Ambulatory Care Clinic Float Pool as and LPN at UNC.
  11. I'm happy to say I interviewed and my references and jobs are being checked at another LTC place!!! :)
  12. That is one thing I will NEVER be without! My husband thought I was crazy at first but after his grandfather died at a nursing home from pure negligence he's in board...my DON would drop me like a hot potato if anything ever happened!
  13. I have been thinking about it lately...it puts me and the other nurses and even the CNA's at risk every time that she wants to turn a blind eye to things or do things we shouldn't be doing. Hopefully I get another job soon so I can leave there even though I love my residents:(
  14. Im looking into the excelsior program from NJ and in a year or so my husband and I were looking into moving to the Clayton area...check . with the NC BON cause I don't think NC takes the program. You don't want to go do the classes and then get screwed.
