  1. Well if you are going to work in the province then PHP 8,000.00 is ok I guess, it's definitely better than nothing. But look at the flipside, you'll be working ALONE, the sole medical personnel in a far-flung barrio or town.
  2. Try Applecare and Castel, you'll have to wait though if you want your own design or if they don't have available sizes.
  3. Just saw the some government reps on TV discussing this program, they are only going to deploy 10000 nurses in a year, each nurse will receive a stipend of Php 8,000.00 which they claim "is not so bad."
  4. Practice open/closed gloving technique, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Congratulations on landing the job!
  5. I believe the last change was done April 2007, it has been mentioned numerous times in this forum. And changes are made every 3 years, you may look here for more info. http://www.ncsbn.org
  6. Congratulations, you have an inspiring story which kind of mirrors mine. Hopefully I can nail it too the second time around.
  7. Nope didn't take the QT, just read their Strategy book and did the comprehensive from Saunders. On the practice tests for both books I averaged 50%-70%. Again good luck on your exam, I'm not going to let this result bring me down. I will do better next time.
  8. Read Kaplan and Saunders on my own, good luck on your test tomorrow! I'm not sure if I'm going to retake it again, maybe after another year or so. I'm not sad about it or maybe the gravity of the situation hasn't dawned on me yet, c'est la vie.
  9. I finally got my results, and I failed *sigh.
  10. Got my results today and I failed.
  11. OMG! 2 weeks left? Best thing for you to do is take on practice tests everyday, familiarize yourself with the questions and rationales. Reading the comprehensive review probably won't do you any good since you have a small amount of time left. Good luck!
  12. I got just 1 SATA, which is scaring me since I'm still waiting for my results, got a lot of priority questions though.
  13. I took the RN exam last March 5, still awaiting results, it's been 2 days now, it's so nerve-wracking.
  14. I also submitted my application to NCBON, I just indicated in the application that the language used in our teaching was english, and reiterated that to the school registrar to indicate it in my transcript as well. CES is a requirement at NCBON.
  15. Took the RN exam today and stopped at 75, I too am feeling the NCLEX Result Waiting Syndrome, can't sleep and I keep thinking I failed, will get back to you in 2 days for the results.
