    Cox College Advanced Pharmacology

Hello, I am going to take adv. pharmacology (part of NP Program) at Cox college...how much school work do you have there weekly? Meaning: do you have 1 discussion post, 2 replies, and a test weekly, or do you have papers as well and tests are biweekly...I am just trying to see what kind of school work and how much to plan for? Thank you. PS: I am transferring from Herzing, so I am totally new at Cox.
  3. Hello, I am your fellow student in Herzing PMHNP. I noticed you recommened apea.com for studying adv. patho. Would you say that the quiz questions in advance patho are the same as in apea.com

So overwhelmed and do know what to focus on with so much material to read. Thank you,

Herzing University Post-Master's PMHNP certificate program

I think we will both rock. How did you learn about Walden s accreditation difficulties and criminal investigations? They didn't tell me. It was a fellow student on this site that gave me heads up.

Update on Walden's post-master's certificate accreditation

You are very kind. Thank you. I just wish it was less than 24 months and no clinical hours for advanced physical assessment class because it is extra work to find preceptors for non--psych classes during pandemic but others have done it so it must be doable. Much, much gratitude.
  9. Update on the post-master's PMHNP program? How is everyone doing? Difficulty level? All the best to all of you, Jari

So excited about finally starting soon. I was about to go with Walden but they are still not accredited for their post masters.
  11. Hello Everyone, I will be joining this March 8th, 2021 (PMHNP post master's certificate program). I am scheduled to take advanced patho and advanced pharma together at the same time. I work part time...are those 2 doable at the same time? Is it going to be crazy? I am totally OK with Bs but do not want to be crazy stressed (just moved so my batteries are a bit low). How many hours a week did you devote to each of these classes? Thank you and all the best on your journey.

Update on Walden's post-master's certificate accreditation

Thank you all. I don't qualify for Frontier post master's certificate program for PMHNP because they unfortunately offer that program only to APRNs :(. It is a great school though but my MSN is in nursing education. I am really thinking about Herzing University's postmasters PMHNP certificate program as that one is approved my CA board of nursing and is accredited (unlike Walden's post masters certificates programs). What do you guys think? It is 24 months though which is longer than I was hoping for. Mental Clarity? Thank you so much.

Update on Walden's post-master's certificate accreditation

I just did some Google search about the US Dep of Justice investigations...wow. I had no clue. I have been in weekly touch with admissions department and advising and I have been numerously reassured that everything is fine and the accreditation is coming and that CCNE has been very impressed and happy during the last visit in November. No mention about any inverstigation at all. That's a bummer. I wanted to start in January with National University but they did not open due to Covid. No Walden seems not a good option. :(:( About to cry.

Update on Walden's post-master's certificate accreditation

Thank you so much. I had no idea that Walden was under investigation by the US Dept of Justice. Wow. Where can I learn more about it? It is not ideal but there are not many options for me now during Pandemic as local schools do not take new students due to problems with clinicals, so yes Walden would likely still be in play for me if they got accredited by March 1st (this is when I am supposed to start). I am also looking at Herzing University by their post-master's Psych NP Program takes 2 years is more expensive. Any insight into what school to do thats accepted in California? Thank you so much.
  16. Hello Dear Ones, I am supposed to start Walden University post-masters NP Program on March 1st. Does anybody have any insight into their post-master's accreditation? I think CCNE had a visit there in October but there they still did not post any update...Do you think it is safe to start the program and it will get accredited eventually? Thank you
