  1. This is true! It was an awesome weekend of no papers due, I loved it!
  2. I only had to take 11 classes... And, I once got docked on participation, I think in Trends, because, even though I had the required amount, there wasn't enough of my responses in DQ2:woot:
  3. I got my license in NV first, moved to TN a month later and applied for my TN license. Az is a compact state though, meaning you can use that license in other compact states without having to get a new state license. TN is the same. And pay is based on a few factors. Cost of living, experience, stuff like that. I get paid crap here in TN, but the cost of living is considerably less than my counterparts in Vegas, who make about $14 more per hr than I do! And, I just finished my BSN but will not get a pay raise here for that
  4. I had to appeal twice (which is the max you can appeal at CSN) and was approved both times as well. I also had an AA when I started at CSN. I received grants my first few semesters (before nursing school) then had to do the appeals for both years of nursing school. I don't think I had the excess credit fee either.
  5. Thanks! You will be there soon!!!
  6. I think I had a panic attack last night before I realized I didn't have to turn in a DQ!
  7. And I finished the class with a 99%! Woohoo!
  8. Thanks guys! It feels weird not having something to turn in today:unsure:
  9. You will get used to it after awhile! It's a lot to learn! I wrote down everything, step by step so I knew (like admitting/discharging/transferring a pt), wrote down everything I had to chart on, had copies of papers I knew I'd need, like the PP said. That's what helped me learn. I've been working for almost 8 months now and still get stumped on things we don't normally see, like SCIP patients or something, but my coworkers are always helpful!
  10. I'm done!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. It does! I am So happy to be done!!!!
  12. This is awesome! And I dislike when other's have my name
  13. OMG guys, I just have 2 more posts to do to get my participation and pretty up my paper and then I'm done!!!
  14. I'd have to count, but I think, with these 4 weeks submitted, I am up to about 23 pages total. But, I have yet to do the abstract and such!
  15. I haven't even asked yet, still debating on whether to get one or not. I got one when I got my ADN. Had it all of 2 days and it was in my purse, which was stolen I was SO upset! And why does my capstone not seem as long? Now I feel like I'm doing something wrong!
